  The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. It was also in a perfect location - not too close to the city center, but placed close enough to walk to the bars in 12 min. - Nice location easy access to everywhere. If you got a smart phone search on google and it'll tell you whi - This is a very nice new hotel with very comfortable, soundproofed and air conditioned rooms. The internet connection worked very well for me. The rooms are large by European standards and the shower has a rain-fall and hand-held head. If comfort is a priority this is the place. Downside is location. It is a 15-20 min plus waiting time from most attractions. Also note there are at least three ways of getting here from Centraal Station. 1.   The hotel is really wonderful! We stayed there with my friend for 4 nights at the end of May and were really suprised with everything. First, location. You're in the centre but away from the noisy crowd. Dam Square is within 15 min walk. The tram stop is just next to the hotel so it's really easy to get everywhere in Amsterdam. The rooms are well-equipped, though not large, but there is enough space and furniture for - The hotel is easily reachable by public transport. I spent two nights in the hotel and enjoyed comfortable and clean rooms, rich breakfasts and friendly staff who was always there ready to help. When I arrived to the hotel tired after a long travel the manager offered me complimentary tea/coffee and gave very useful tips about what to see and where to go. Thanks to the hotel manager's advice during my short stay I managed to visit almost all the top attractions in Amsterdam. If you like walk

  We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. Nice wee touches like brollys being available.I wouldn't hesitate using the apartment again - Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will definitely be back.
