Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

The staff was wonderful. Our refridgerator had a problem but they came within minutes to correct. We blew a fuse at 5 in the morning and again there in minutes to fix. Access to the hotel facilities was great too. But the staff is fantastic. There to help you and so friendly. Loved it. - Location and luxury

The room was excellent very tastefully furnished and overlooking Vondelpark which was great for watching the rush hour for bicycles! The owner, Mike, very polite and servicing. The breakfast also very good, although was a bit late as needed to leave early, bit it is ok given this hotel is not for business travellers and I chose it because I needed to attend a conference, and had to do it at the very last minute. I was very lucky with this place. I recommend it. -
