There is a bar in the hotel that provides different drinks/snacks and they accept credit - We stayed only one night before an onward journey. It was incredibly easy to find and right next door to the train Station which is only one stop from the city centre. It was very clean and we stayed in a room with two bunk beds and two twin beds which was very well thought out with the furniture and lighting and excellent for our 3 children. We had a great night's sleep, there was no noise whatsoever. The breakfast cost around 5 euro and was an eat all you can buffet style which was brilliant

  I have stayed at Amsterdam Identity Apartments on several occasions now and I am returning for another stay soon. The apartments are in an ideal location, a few minutes walk from Sloterdijk train station. Trains are every 5-10 minutes to Amsterdam Central and you are only on the train for a few minutes.Trains run until around 1am and there is also... what people say » a night bus you want to party and stay out until the early hours. You can also walk or cycle in to the centre if you want to be active.   it was a secure venue in a great location, the owner was very understanding and helpful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for accomadation in the city - Great location, great price, and very homely. Very comfy bed.
