The staff was very friendly and helpful. Once we arrived, they gave us a map and showed us the location of the main attractions of the city. We decided to stay another day and they helped us to reschedule our train tickets and also printed new tickets. The hotel is very close to the Vondelpark and the station Amstelveenseweg (Zeilstraat) of tram line 2. The heating worked well and the bathroom is comfortable. We stayed in a front apartment, but the street is quiet and we heard no noise.

The twenty minute walk through the park each morning and afternoon was the perfect transition into the city and back. Room was clean with a lovely view. Hot water always available. Quiet location which was perfect for us. Breakfast was additional but well worth having. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Would definitely return. I really like this Hotel,it's the third time im in Amsterdam and always in this Hotel. I suggest other travellers to go there,it is not so cheap but service is very good,it is near a good park and tram lines. Very nice. The location is really quite, the hotel is situated in a residential area near the park. The rooms are clean, WiFi is fast. The tram stop is 3 minutes walk and it takes about 20 minutes to reach Central Station. Perfect location by the vondelpark and near the center of the city! The bed is very soft. The room is small and it is difficult to keep two bags open at the same time. However, for that price, it's enough to sleep and to take a shower before exploring the city. We liked everything ... so much so that we cancelled a prevoius hotel and we returned to Central Park Hotel for four more nights after our first four nights. Room was very cold on arrival. Electricity was instigated by keycard so had to wait for room to warm up. No heating in bathroom. Hairdryer not working in bathroom. Everything was good, except the bed linen has never been changed even though I stayed for 7 nights. Unfortunately breakfast is extra, but there are many cafes nearby. small rooms. The room was very cold, more than outside. Beds were too soft, Not comfortable. Room was very small but clean. If not using tram there are not many amenities nearby. Not hotel's fault but the mass transit system needs much time to become easy to use. i had to buy a drink, and take it back to our room. Rooms are way to small. No hooks or wardrobe for outwear. Very run down inside, chipped and scuffed paint in hallways and rooms, slightly tatty appearance and dirty and worn carpets. I was immensely disappointed with the hotel, especially in such an affluent area. Quite a distance to the city centre and expensive to take taxis if you werent up to the public transport challenges. location is a bit far from town. We paid for a triple room, it was only a double with a camp bed. very small rooms. its expensive for what it is.
