I had a very pleasant stay for 4 days in this hotel,the staff were very warm,well mannered,welcoming and helpful.,my room was room410 lots of space to move around spotless clean nice and bright,bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower and bath.Room was very modern with black carpet white walls and grey beams going across ceiling,Flatscreen with 12 chanels on tv, kettle,2 seater leather sofa and beautiful white table also in the bed room,and a digital safe ,air conditioning too.I could only giv.
all reviews » The location was the best thing about this hotel - it is right next to the red light district - which is pretty central to everywhere in Amsterdam - all the places we wanted to visit were at most a 20 minute walk away, therefore public transport was not needed. We had booked a small double - which was definitely small, however for our 3 night stay, this was perfect for us. Our room overlooked the canal too which was great, and we did not experience any noise in our room in the evenings. The roo. Hotel is situated on the heart of Amsterdam Red Light. Everything around is just for having fun and spend time with "regular" Amsterdam things. Hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel is completly renovated so everything internally is brand new which gives a great feeling. Location is GREAT, 3 minutes walking from the central station. I will forever be booking with letsbookhotel.com and my trips to Amsterdam will always be spent in the luxury of Hotel cc. I feel my past trips to Amsterdam with other hotels were wasted but now I have found my gem. Location is fantastic, super easy to take tram from airport and only takes 15 mins, tram is only 4 euros and 2 min walk from Amsterdam central, once you walk outside the hotel there is food, coffeeshops, souvenirs, bars, very short walk to red light district and dam square.. Staff was great, room was clean view of the canal and city..already planning my next stay at hotel cc. The proximity to the city's main attractions and Centraal Station. The friendliness and helpful attitude of the reception staff. The comfort of the rooms; flat screen TV and excellent ensuite shower room which included free toiletries. Our room looked out over Warmestraat and we found it entertaining and close to everything we wanted to do in Amsterdam. The rooms were small but comfortable. Excellent, excellent staff, nothing was to much trouble from the complimentary coffee in the mornings to market tips etc. It can be noisy if you are on the street side but on the water side it is beautiful. Wi-Fi is free and of a decent speed. it a fabulous place, very clean.it is worthy paying for. few minutes walk to train station, shopping centre, red light district and historical places. parking its 200metres away in car parking mall in shopping centre but damn expensive. we paid 50 euros for 18hrs. Cleaner than i have expected. Photos of the rooms are real. They are having a vending machine.The AC in the room was working properly. Till 3am you could hear the red light depending the position of your room. But this hotel stays in a quiter red light area. This hotel was centrally located so we could walk most anywhere- shopping, restaurants, coffee shops etc! It was clean & the rooms were spacious for Europe. A couple of members of staff were slightly rude, however I think this was due to a language barrier. Room is really small, and the guests and area are very rowdy. They can be too loud late night and early morning. nothing to complain all was fine. This hotel gives you a home feeling but if you get close to your window it is coming cold from out side. I think they must change their windows from single to double glazed glass. Nothing. a little be expensive. It would have been great if we could have had breakfast here. I got lucky, so you should ask for one of the bigger rooms prior to your booking. Also, I should have brought a pair of slippers because the base of the shower flooded quickly. Slightly over priced paying for location..!. Room was very small, at ground floor. You hear an amplified noise of other guests walking up and downstairs. No toillet amenities. Really overpriced. Only recommended if you don't find anything else with a more realistic price. The small double room is very small. It is the width of a small double bed (6 foot), so if you're tall it may not be suited to you. Narrow hallways and many stairs, so it makes difficult to walk thru if are carrying luggage. The room is also very small. The double beds are very small And generally their showers are generally small too. Nothing. Pretty noisy due to it's central location. Low ceilings in the room makes it a bit too compact, especially when you have 3/4 people in one room. The lifts were really slow. I think its a bit over priced compared to other hotels I have stayed in. I am assuming that could only be for the location and nothing else. The vent in the bathroom leaked out cigarette smoke and our whole room smelt. When we complained we were told to open a window. Its was minus 6 degrees outside. This was meant to be a non smoking hotel. If it were us smoking im sure we would have been charged. The night reception staff refused to move us and said there was nothing he could do. Even though there were free rooms as when we were standing at reception new customers were booking rooms. There was no laundry service, nor laundry room. It was rather expensive, compared to hotels in other cities. Since it was in the red light district, it can be a bit noisy at night. Holland is cold. Nothing really. My room was noisy as it faced the street, but it was still bearable. It is noisy at night. There are many, many "coffee shops" in the area, so be prepared for a strong smell of canabis at all times of day. TV didn't work The rooms floor was not straight. I have no complaints whatsoever regarding this hotel. No breakfast or dining but across the street and surrouding areas plently of places to eat so it was not a major problem. Single room used as a double( very small) Non smoking Early checkout.
