Easy to reach from Schipol Airport and to Amsterdam City Centre. There is a Halal Doner Kebab shop at the Sloterdijk Station. How to get here - Go to the Information Counter at Sloterdijk Station. The officer will tell you to go to the red door opposite the Information Counter, walk through, go down the stairs and on the right is the hi Entrance. Take the lift up to level 1 for reception as the Entrance(is on level minus 2). Remember also in the lift, to go to your room you will need to slot in.
all reviews » It is not very often I rate a hotel as perfect, but this one was, I cannot think of anything negative to say about it at all, so to me it was perfect for our trip. We needed somewhere to stay for just one night, close to Schipol airport, on a return from a holiday, and this was it. 10 minutes on a train from the airport, and the hotel was right next door. Also on main rail line into Centraal Station, just a short journey away. Our room was on the 7th floor, and gave a view over the train statio. This is a typical modern business hotel, smart, well-maintained, efficient, comfortable and impersonal. Thank you to an earlier reviewer for instructions how to find it from the station and how to find reception! I asked for a quiet room away from the trains and we heard no noise. The modern pub / restaurant close to the hotel had good beer and food, but as others have said, this is a business park and likely to be closed at weekends. We found it to be an excellent place for a last night in Ams. Hotel was in excellent location for transit...could get on many types of transportation to take you anywhere; close to Schipol airport and downtown. Very clean hotel and rooms that were nicely furnished, comfortable beds; English channels on tv; bathroom was well appointed with a large shower; breakfast options were plentiful and varied...something for everyone including many kinds of coffee; free Wifi in hotel and internet computer in lobby were nice amenities; hotel staff were amazing, no mat. Great location just outside Amsterdam Sloterdijk station (which connects you to several towns in the country, and to the airport easily), good friendly staff, the room was super large, clean and organized. Hotel adjacent to excellent rail transfer into city excellent clean room midday march 28th on arrival at reception we were met by a very friendly , competent young lady after not a great journey from belgrade- helped us sort out few travel queries and sent us on our way with a smile- she absolutely set the tone for our arrival and stay at the hotel and has a bright future ahead of her ! our family are regular visitors to amsterdam and I will strongly urge them to move away from the central hote. We stayed in a room on 7th floor looking away from the bus station. It was quiet, clean, spacious and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast had a good range of food but was so busy the staff had trouble keeping up with clearing tables. The Hermes bar and restaurant nearby is excellent but be warned it is closed at weekends and there is nowhere else nearby to eat. The hotel is situated next to Sloterdijk train station and there is a bust stop right in front of it, so if you intend to get to the Central station just take bus 48 and you'll be there in 20 min. The hotel is very nice, clean, you've got everything you need in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient, with the train station right next door. It is easy to catch trams, metro and trains from here. Situation in the suburbs but close to Sloterdijk Station :bus 48 runs to A'dam Central Station and Tram 12 runs to MuseumPlein in about 20 mn. A parking place is available for 15 € per day. As in all of these hotels, they only provide 2 of each teabag, which means one cup of tea per person per day, but we did ask for and receive more teabags. Lack of restaurant - we got soaked in torrential rain going to the pub. Nothing. There is no safebox nor minibar in the room. Breakfast is the same everyday, no variation. No restaurant at the hotel, but you can find a good option to dine behind the hotel or just eat wherever you are. Lift is old and a bit confusing in the beginning. Duvet too small for the bed. No safe in the room. Narrow streets for the cars. Too many bicycles and motorcycles, difficult traffic because of that. Takes some time to adapt. No parking places. You have to leave car somewhere and only after that you can get to your destination. Shortahe of both hanging space and storage for clothes - no drawers and few shelves. Few and slow lifts/elevators, especially as one is needed to reach the lobby. Duvet on bed (double) only just big enough. The proximity to the train station can make the location a bit loud at some hours. Next to Train/bus station. A lot of noise late and early. The windows should be replaced by better ones. Everything was excellent. There was no toothbrush/past available, though it was mentioned that you would be given if you ask. Hotel didn't have any restaurant (just for breakfast). Internet was through TMobile hot spot and was not so reliable. We ended up sharing my own 4G cell phone connection. Leaving :-(. Wifi worked in the room only on Thursday. The other 3 days I had to be in the lobby to use it. Free wifi in the room is one of the reasons I have chosen this hotel over the others. nothing, enjoyed my stay. Nothing. For whose who are light sleepers : ask for even numbers room (opposite side from the station). The reception didn't hear us ringing the night bell, we only managed to get into the building as somebody was coming out!. None. The bed is not that comfortable. The misunderstanding we had about the checking out (it appeared the hotel was fully-booked the next day, and we understand) Not putting a tag on all our luggage while putting them in the luggage room. This could have had a risk of loss. You can't have everything--but the only problem is the 10 km (?) distance from city center. Transportation is very accessible-right at the front door of the hotel, and I'm sure this is why we get a good price!. Probably would be good to have a fridge in the room but it would matter much to us. No disadvantages. There is no fridge. In our 7-day stay, the room-cleaning was omitted twice when we worked in the room till about noon. Bathroom bidets would be a welcome addition. Some noise comes in through the windows, from the train-,tram- and bus station around the hotel. Does not have own restaurant but several nearby. Unfortunately we had problems with the internet access that didn't work for all the 4 days of our stay. Staff kept saying the problem was to be solved but it never happened. It really spoilt our stay as it avoid contact with our family and some very needed work at night. Confusing signage at the elevators, only 2 out of 3 go down to the entrance level, perhaps both should be programmed in the same way. No dining options in the hotel. Not much to dislike, only the powdered milk in the rooms for tea/coffee. poor breakfast, poor infrastructure around. The bedroom mattress a bit too soft. One has to wait a long time for one of the two elevators to stop at one's floor. This was no problem for us since we habitually take the stairs, but we saw quite a few very frustrated guests. Had to take train on daily basis to the center. No rail pass was available.
