Good connections from the hotel to the airport and amsterdam city. Very friendly staff. Nice and clean overall. We had a good stay!

The bed and pillows where a little to hard for our taste and the breakfast was not included (expensive). We also had to become a member in their club to get free wifi.

Smart new business hotel. Very handy for Schiphol, nice peaceful location in an office area. Tram nearby. Comfy bed.

Lovely modern and efficient rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location, a little pricey but great value considering the location and the impeccable service, irreproachable cleanliness.

it is far from city center but it is not main problem. i am traveling a lot with many country, also i have contract with Crowen Plaza Beijing in china , you price is high , this is my idea.

The Hotel was perfect for us , away from the hustle-bustle and noise.Well connected to the city center by Tram No. 5. close to Rail Station South. Neat and clean. Above all the most Helpful Staff we have ever seen anywhere else, till we stayed in this hotel. My wife injured her ankle ( in the city) on the very first day of our stay. On return to the hotel we approached the staff for assistance of a doctor. The Manager on Duty Ms Denise Noij took complete control of the situation , contacted our travel insurers, arranged for us to go to the Hospital ( where x ray indicated a fracture) for which treatment was given. On return to the hotel, Denise personally visited our room and made my wife comfortable. We are indebted to her for her timely actions and concern. Also the other staff was most helpful ( Ms Rachel Langedijk who processed our numerous documents to the insurance company). The personal interest and actions taken by the staff of the hotel speaks volumes of the professional working ethos inculcated in them by the hotel chain. One can easily call this chain the Friendliest Chain of Hotels . When we or any of our friends and family visit Amsterdam in the future they are sure to stay at Crowne Plaza A'dam South . We do plan to visit again ! Needles to say even elsewhere during travel we would first explore the Crowne Plaza chain before deciding on a booking. Arun & Madhu Mullick, Pune India

The service was fantastic and we really appreciated the present the staff gave us for our anniversary. The rooms were very comfortable.

Charging for wifi however, wifi is free if you join the IHG club.

The hotel was excellent with great service and amazing price comparing to other hotels in Amsterdam. Room was very nice, modern and clean, big bathroom with a nice bath. If you want to be accommodated in a luxury hotel at reasonable price, Crown Plaza Amsterdam South is the right place for you. I could imagine my honeymoon in this kind of hotel :)

The hotel is around 15-20 minutes far from the city center, but easily reached by tram n. 5.

Great value for money. Although location is quite far from the main attractions, they are easy to reach by tram or train (Amsterdam Zuid station is 5min walk from the hotel).

The staff is always there, and even take you to your room, call you to know if the room is ok, really off the chart treatment.

Location is 20 mins by tram 5,16 or 24 into town. Spacious room. Excellent TV channel choice. Free water in lobby. Food outlets at zuid station, a 5 min walk. Zuid station is 7 mins from the airport. Ice machine throughout hotel.

Cleaning lady did not clean cot. Water only provided on first day! Coffee facilities not replenished until asked. No free wifi, very expensive.

A quiet hotel with a sense of spaciousness around the foyer and atrium. The elevators appear to be powered by silent rockets. Members of the hotel staff were quick, attentive, efficient and friendly.

Breakfast was expensive and therefore we dined out. Bar price for a glass of Jameson is €5.50. The one truly strange, mean, frugal and what may constitute a limitation to civil rights and liberties is Crown Plaza's policy to make people pay for access to the internet. Even at simple bed and breakfast establishments in my homeland, Ireland, comes with free access to the internet.

It's convenient to take metro and tram to the city center. Quiet and modern around the hotel.

Great hotel, big quiet rooms and beautiful design interior. In the old town you would have to pay triple to get the same quality. Amsterdam Zuid station is 2 min walkibg distance. From there you get very frequent tram, metro or train connections to all parts of Amsterdam. 15 min to old town by tram. Buy day pass for 7.50 snd you can use any means of transport and enjoy both the old town and this great and superclean hotel.

The hotel is at 3-5 minutes walk from Metro Station(Station Zuid) and Train Station(Amsterdam zuid), so you will get very fast to the Airport(10 min) and to the city center(20 min) The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The hotel is placed in a business zone, so it is very quiet and spacious . You have lots of places to have breakfast at the metro station, don't buy the hotel one that it is very expensive(23 euro/person). Also, at the hotel you have free coffe/tea maker in the room. Normally you have to pay the Wi-fi(10euro/day), but if you have a priority club card or sign up for one, you will get it for free. And it works really fast.

Junior suites are very spacious. The business lounge offers free drinks (softdrink, beer and wine) and free snacks. The rooms are finished with very high quality materials. Close to Amsterdam Rai

Cleaning Standards Staff

No Smoking at ALL No Facilitation of Room Cancellation which I had to cancel my flights for as I would have lost 800euros

The names of the person who made reservation and that of the guest were mixed up. (In the booking confirmation the guest name is clearly mentioned) The invoice was also made to the person who made the reservation, not to the guest and this could not be corrected. The reservation department is apparently not used to the booking made via letsbookhotel.com.

The staff is nice, and the hotel is very close to all kinds of public transport

The first morning there was no hot water, had to take a cold shower and I really hate that. It's almost impossible to call with a mobile phone there and parking is 48 euro per day
