Location was excellent, tram stop right outside taking you straight to the centre and only minutes from the lovely Vondelpark so you also feel away from it all. Despite the proximity to the main road we experienced no traffic noise whatsoever in our room. We had a triple room which was minimal, clean and comfortable. If you were a family of four staying just a few nights it would be worth asking if an extra bed could be accommodated in the tr. Design of the hotel is fantastic.I Loved Paola Navone chairs as much as the green wall. There in no problem with the wi-fi at all. Outside the hotel there is a tram stn that takes you to the city centre within 5mins. Or less - depends where you get off. : ) Close to the hotel one can find few restaurants. Remembering what I had for much higher price in Venice, breakfast was honestly very good. For me hotel offers fair standard for it's price (a little over 100,-Euro per night). The hotel was lovely, Comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful The location was great as there was a tram stop in front of the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and has the best sleep I have had in a long time! To the point we missed breakfast! Also hired there bikes - which I highly recommend! Was the easiest way of getting around Amsterdam (especially as it is a bit of a mission by foot to the main dam square). Overall really enjoyed it there and would definitely go back :). I love green facilities and this was green! The countertops were made of recycled materials, they used large bottles of soap and shampoo rather than the little ones- lots of things. Room was comfy (not very large) and conveniently located by public transportation though I walked everywhere I needed to go. I left my luggage with them while I went to Rijksmuseum and they graciously stored it. All of it, great location, number one tram right out side goes to city centre, where you can get on a multitude off other tram that take you to different parts of the city, and the boat trips, we took the 48hr tram pass which you get it reception, there is a David loydds next door if you wanted to use it. What's not to like, best hotel I've stayed in in the dam,. Good position (Vondelpark), not in the city center but very closed to the tram stop; in 5 minutes you can reach the museum plaza and in 10 minutes the city center. Very confortable, clean room (even if not so big); very quiet during the night. Guests can have a coffe and buy something to eat in the pleasant bar in the lobby. Perfect location near the beautiful Vondelpark, with Tram 1 stopping right outside the door of the Conscious Hotel. Many good restaurants nearby, and a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Leidseplein / Museum area. Very clean and comfortable with a nice eco-friendly / organic atmosphere. Conscious Hotel Vondelpark is brilliantly located right by the Vondelpark with a tram stop just outside which runs every 10mins. The staff were really helpful, the rooms and bar were brilliant, really well equipped - especially with board games and beers in the bar area! An all round brilliant hotel and well worth a visit. The staff was very friendly, the room had everything we needed and it is right next to the tram stop so it was easy to get to the city centre. They have a lot of eco-friendly things, for example the shower, the towels, the soap, etc. You can also get organic breakfast if you wish. I will totally come back to this hotel. This was the best hotel that we stayed in over our 3 week honeymoon. Completely exceeded my expectations. It was a quirky pretty hotel and had good morals behind everything e.g using less water, recycled products etc. Would definitely recommend. Prevents getting the entire bathroom floor wet after each shower though.... ;). No kettle in the room, just a British necessity to want a cup of tea first thing? Shower rather than bath, unsurprising with the Eco-friendly stance, but worth mentioning to prepare those with very young children. Am being very picky now but the pillows were huge and high and I found them uncomfortable. None of the minor negatives would prevent us staying there again, it was great overall. Hairdryer really dried my hair. So take your own one if you care about the look ;) A word to the hotel Staff&designers: a big mirror would be a bless. Its always good to know how you look b4 going to a party ;). Only negative was cost of taxi there - 40 Euros for less than 10 miles. I would have figured out the public transportation. Getting asked in the centre on the night if I wanted drugs, just say no. Expensive breakfast, we decided not to book it. The walls are a bit thin, but I had no problems with any noisy neighbors, and away from the street noise by choosing a superior room in the B corridor. There was no such thing. The rooms are a bit small if you travel with a baby but they gave us a larger room. The garage was full, but ok parking opportunities nearby. Nothing really bad to say - was slightly more out of the centre than I thought but wasn't an issue for us. Also was quite a long walk from the entrance to block B floor 3 but again not an issue as such. nuffin!. Only minor thing was that we hired bikes and it wd have been good to have been told that u can't put bikes on the train during rush hour. Not sure how u r supposed to know as no obvious notices anywhere. Price of breakfast meant we didnt have breakfast in the hotel which was a shame but not a problem. nothing to dislike here at all. I was a little bit disappointed regarding the pillows..very high, slightly hard and small. i hope they will change them as we are planning to stay there in the future. Nothing at all!. Nothing really!. The door closers in the hotel need to be adjusted as several were slamming shut. Not much, but maybe one improvement would be coffee delivered to the room in the morning, but then that might be just me being very lazy :). Was a bit difficult to find the car park... that's more my fault though!. The layout is a bit confusing and it was a complex trek with two elevators to get from reception to rooms in Tower B, but it is quite doable. It is about a 30 minute walk to the edge of city centre. Cannot think of anything, except perhaps explanation at arrival from the staff of how to get to Tower B. Not a major problem. only problem we had was our room was a little warm at night but it was not a big issue. Nothing!. 1. no Coffee/Tea making facility 2. When you take a shower it gets slightly messy 3. If you stay in Tower B, it can be uncomfortable to carry your luggage all the way to your room. Nothing I didn't like except I couldn't stay in Amsterdam longer! :). Nothing to dislike. quite far from the centre. A little bit far from center altough there is a direct connection in front of hotel to Leidseplein and back ! 2.8 € single ticket. Be aware that the hotel is some distance from the centre, but it is directly on the number 1 tram. Nothing really. Nothing. The rums should be aired or windows oppened before others get in. Otherwise a very nice hotel. None. corridor decor and doors annoyingly self-satisfied eco-notices disinterest of staff in a missing sink plug.
