conveniently located in centre of town. Near to harbour ferry point, Sula Temple, park and shopping. Walking distant to Boyoke Market. Friendly staff and good location in Downtown Yangon - next to Sule Pagoda. Simple and clean room, nice breakfast. This is unacceptable for a $100 a night room. (2) Why cant the staff just give you a bill at the end of your stay (since they already have the credit card number). Why do they need to track you down every day to pay for the room? (3) There is an alcohol ban in the hotel. They didn't take credit card even that in the web site they've said they would, so I had to pay cash and the whole ammount when checking in, breakfast was bad and the facilities very old and not well mantained. To say it needs a lick of paint is an understatement. Very tired looking, everything is pretty basic and walls pretty thin. Although this is one of the cheaper options, there may be better value out there. Poorly maintained, run-down rooms. In the usa it would be called "Jake's Motel" and charge $35 per night. No safe in room. Not girl-friendly. Non existent wifi in rooms,cheap quality toiletries,bland breakfast,highly inflated room cost typical to Yangon. old hotel worried about health and safety due to use of extra old electrical wires.... overprice for the quality. Room a bit rundown. Room furniture disposition and electricity socket supply. The staff could not speak English, they overcharged me but when I tried to explain that they should not charge my credit card because I advanced the cash on the first day, they did not want to return the excess charge. The room has bugs and bed sheets had stains. Well located but pricey room in poor condition. Very bad value for money. We were on the 3rd floor, and as soon as you got out of the lift, the smell was overpowering - closed in, musty, mildewy. Staff looked like they were waiting for a tip at every step eg opening the door. Details of property wrongly provided on letsbookhotel.com. No wifi in room. Onspot tariff lower than on letsbookhotel.com site. Staff not courteous. Filthy, run down place. Life wires everywhere. Hugely overpriced, stay away at any cost!.
