Spent 2 nights in this nice hotel near the northern part of the wall (near Bab Bouzamarne gate). We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The city itself wasn't too special but the Riad was lovely and i... what people say » f it hadn't been cloudy we would have used the pool. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable and cool. A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.

Chez Talout is the best place we staid during our trip in Marocco! The
auberge is located in a surrounding that is a bit desolated, but sooo
beautiful! And there are lots of places to visit using Chez Talout as a
base. We stayed at Chez Talout for 5 days and I would have loved to stay
longer! The staff is so friendly and helpfull (they treated our... what people say » two

I loved Chez Talout... here I found an oasis of peace and calm and Soufiane, his wife and his family treated me like one of their own. The location is unbeatable.... at the highest point in the valley with the snowcapped Atlas mountains visible from your bedroom window. The staff helped me out with everything I needed, from food requests, to arranging tours and bus tickets to Marrakech, to seamless pickups, printing out my flight tickets. Best of all, it was the perfect spot of tranquility, far

This has got to have been one of the nicest Hotels/Riads I have ever stayed in. At every turn there is some beautiful to look at. A real gem of a place. We were only staying one night sadly and our friends and ourselves booked the two 'tower' rooms with patios which were lovely.
The food was great and the breakfast too. Lovely staff and 'guardian... what people say » ' car parking. Don't be put off when you first drive out to the edge of the palm grove - its worth the drive when you walk inside. -
Beautiful riad. We were offered the choice of room given the low bookings that night and chose the top floor room. Beautiful! We arrived late at night and after we warned them, they kindly still served us food, by the pool, with candles, that was wonderful. Then we had to leave very early in the morning and they still prepared a breakfast feast, as if it had been the regular hour. I would highly highly recommend...

Rooms fitted to a very high standard and filled with plenty of local work. The hotel is a large walled complex that feels like an oasis in itself, with a beautiful swimming pool and lots of outdoor communal seating. We visited during winter and there were very few guests, which allowed dinner to be served in front of the open fire. Perfect location right next to the old mellah and the palmerai.

The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.
