    Great facilities, lovely pool, billiard and cinema, great outdoor area and above all wonderful host francoise and Michel, who were helpful and made it all very easy for us. Cloth washing , printing boarding passes and a bottle of wine.. With final bill so many things were complimentary, Merci ... Merci... A wonderful oasis to recharge and enjoy ... what people say » the surroundings.. The kashbah was spacious, relaxed and felt sophisticated. We had travelled a substantial time through Morocco and wanted to splash - One of the best hotels on our 20 day trip in Morroco. I mostly enjoyed the creativiness (hope that word exists) of the design of the construction. I believed it was an abandoned Kasbah reconstructed. The room is very smart and cozy. Totally worth it.

    This was our favourite stop on our trip, we stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer. Bagdad cafe is set against the gorgeous backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site: Ait Ben Haddou. It is a boutique hotel with only six rooms and a swimming pool run by a fabulous and welcoming family. Our room was very comfortable with a king ... what people say » size bed and decent bathroom. Breakfast was served in the typical Moroccan style and food was also available for lunch and dinner. As it was our anni - We loved this hotel/hostel and it was a perfect place to stay for the one night we were there in order to see Ait Ben Haddou in the morning. Rose and her husband (and lovely kids - take them Haribo sweets as they can't get them in the area) couldn't have been more welcoming and we had one of the best meals in their restaurant of our entire 3 week trip around Morocco!! The rooms are comfy and clean and the breakfast just kept on coming. Thanks Rose and family, kind regards, Sue and Grahame xx

    We have been travelling now for over 12 weeks, staying here and there and are about to start some serious reviews as this Kasbah as well as other are in our very high rating list.     We stayed at Tizourgane Kasbah two nights and enjoyed our stay. It was a very special place to stay at because there is this beautiful breathtaking view from the terrace.     We were looking for a comfortable place in the roses valley and read the reviews on Kasbah Chems, particularly on the fact that guided hiking could be organize from it. Since we arrived, the service was excellent. We loved our dinner and Said made us feel like at home. The 5 hours tour for the valley was beautiful.     The rooms, food, staff, cleaness and the view are excellent. we arrived late in the night and they prepared us very tasty dinner with a nice decorations.     The garden of the Dar Maktoub is fantastic ! A serene oasis of green, beautiful plantings, wide variety of Palms, flowers, cactus and ferns. Very elegant and large pool space with lots of space to be private in. Main house lodge is well equipped, lovely architecture, very much enjoyed the lounge and fire place. A great base for Agadir. Golf right ... what people say » next door. Last but not least, a lovely dog named Carter who I was ready adopt ! Top that out with very professional staff and good breakfasts. - The hotel has a beautiful, very large swimming pool en neat relaxing furniture around it on which you can relax all day. Beds are huge and comfortable and rooms are spacious enough. We spent three days at the pool (after a week travelling around Marocco) and had no reason to leave the place. Loved it.

    I could write in detail about how beautiful and amazing this place is ... I could go on for hours as it is that fantastic .... so instead I will just say - book it! Don't waste your time researching anywhere else because this is the best there is. Unfortunately, Caroline, the proprietor, was away, but her staff, Abdullah, Hadif ( the chef) and the others, were unbelievable! They were friendly and helpful, without being hovering.
