    The sevice and hospitality of the riad is most commendable. We were well received by the owner once we arrived and were given very detailed description and explanation of the various important sites for our visit in the two days of our stay.     we were very impressed with the ryaid and its staff. It's well presented with lovely intricate detail and immaculate inside. The breakfast is amazing, we felt very spoilt. We sat there as dish after dish was brought out. Really beautiful architecture right in the Medina, which means you can do most of the sightseeing by foot. We had dinner there for 25eur pp, which I think is expensive but the food was truly amazing. Breakfast was excellent as well. I wish I could stay more time! We hired a guide through them for 25eur, which was ok. They charge 10eur for a transfer to the train station in a grand-taxi, but we took a small-taxi there for 2eur.

    A delightful stay with wonderful and friendly staff. Location is away from the hustle and bustle which was a nice reprieve and handy to get to with a vehicle. Dinner was amazing and well worth the price (we are dinner there twice - the Tagine was fabulous). Breakfast was also lovely. A very pleasant atmosphere and a highlight of our trip to Morocc... what people say » o. We had a suite which was a good size, - Luxury Ryad, beautifully furnished with very good breakfast. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend to have a dinner in the Ryad - the cooking is excellent. The location near a door of the Medina allowed to arrive by car or taxi without getting lost. A good choice at a decent price.

    Great location: a minute away from the heart of the medina but very peaceful place too. The dar/riad is exactly what you want: a nondescript door opens to unveil an exquisitely decorated and ornate interior. The place itself, and the rooms, are incredibly spacious and comfortable. Due to there being two terraces (which are also great), you can even get privacy in - The family that runs Dar El Bali was warm and generous, welcoming and helpful. The Dar is a lovely home, well-maintained and beautifully furnished in traditional Moroccan style and a perfect location within the Fes medina. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Fes.

    El Yacout is located right around the corner of the medina. The riad looks amazing with its old style. The personnel was really kind for us and helpful where they could.

    Very characterful, but modernised riad. Offered upgraded room, which was very spacious and well appointed. Excellent location, close to Bab Bou Jaloud and Bou Inania Medersa. Tanneries an easy walk downhill along the main thoroughfare of medina. Good access to Merenid Tombs for brilliant sunset views. Upstairs terrace great for relaxing. Very good... what people say » food at restaurant and breakfast buffet. - It was my friend and my first trip to Morocco so staying in a Riad was a typical Moroccan hotel. The souks were near as was the tannery and Jewish quarter.

    We stayed on the last night of our holiday because we had an early flight from the nearby airport in the morning but we wish we had stopped longer. The hotel is comfortable and nicely furnished, the rooms are excellent, the food was very nice, if slightly limited and the swimming pool is brilliant. They serve a great gin and tonic too!The staff we... what people say » re exceptionally friendly and helpful - they arranged a taxi to take us to the airport and most willingly provided us with breakfast at 5 o'clock in t - We checked into this Riad because we had an early morning flight and wanted to be out of the main centre of Fes so that we didn't have to get up too early. Therefore the location was perfect for us. The Riad is set in the picturesque countryside with well appointed gardens and a nice swimming pool. We had a nice dinner on the terrace. It was a great final night in Morocco. Very relaxing and a great escape from the Medina.

    There are not enough adjectives to describe our stay at Riad Alcantara. From the moment you are greeted at the front door and welcomed by the very friendly staff, you already feel relaxed and at home. All decorations are fascinating - A truly fabulous and beautifully presented Riad in a superb location. The price is fairly high for this area, but the benefits are relaxation in luxurious surroundings. Extremely helpful and attentive staff with the added bonus of a delightful food menu. Absolutely faultless with the exception of the "pool visitors"

    The Ibis is situated on the outskirts of town a very short taxi drive away from the old Medina (haggle the price before getting in, we paid just 2dh about 2 euros each way for 2 people in a petite taxi and 5dh for 4 in a grand taxi each way). Although it is right by the modern train station there is little noise from the trains. We bought a map o... what people say » f Fez from the news agents in the station but trust me when I say trying to follow it was near on impossible. We were touring in our own car and were - We spent three nights there and took two day trips from Fes (Meknes, 1 hour and Taza 2 hours). The hotel's proximity to the train station made it an ideal location for us, though it is still only a short petit taxi ride (10mins) to the Medina (9.50 Dirhams on the meter, though be careful because most taxis outside are picking up people from the train station and ripping them off. One taxi quoted us 40 Dirhams) There is a nice outdoor pool on the ground floor. Buffet breakfast was nice.

    Well located just outside the Medina. Good meal one evening and the owners wife Ben played Lute along with another friend which was really good. Loads of character and a 10 room extension is near completion.

    It was one of the greatest hotels that i ever stayed! Staff (especially Mrs. Senha) was unbelievable! Riad itself was amazing! Room was very big and relaxing. Welcome tea was very nice.
