    The sevice and hospitality of the riad is most commendable. We were well received by the owner once we arrived and were given very detailed description and explanation of the various important sites for our visit in the two days of our stay.     A delightful stay with wonderful and friendly staff. Location is away from the hustle and bustle which was a nice reprieve and handy to get to with a vehicle. Dinner was amazing and well worth the price (we are dinner there twice - the Tagine was fabulous). Breakfast was also lovely. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend to have a dinner in the Ryad - the cooking is excellent. The location near a door of the Medina allowed to arrive by car or taxi without getting lost.     We booked the cheapest room in this beautifully restored traditional riad, but as there were few other guests we were given instead a larger more luxurious room. It was gorgeous! I have never before experienced a warmness like this before, as if you are coming home with friends. My friend was sick wenn we arrived and was taken care of immediately. Sakina and Hussein bought him medication, for which they did not want to get any money. They boiled him rice and did not charge, etc. These are lovely people. And the Riad is a nice place. An oasis of calm in the hectic of a Moroccan city.

    The riad is very beautiful (with an amazing floor of blue and white Fez tiles) and it's got the perfect location right off of the main street in the medina. The staff was excellent, helping us find an English-speaking tour guide when we wanted one and giving us a detailed run-through of the major sites in Fez when we arrived. And the food is just ... what people say » amazing. We had two dinners there, both completely fabulous (and huge!), and the breakfasts are similarly gigantic and delicious. - The room was excellent, staff the best, the space of leisure very very nice to get a rest from the "caos" of the medina. Its really really nice. We'll stay here again if we came back to fés! If you go there don't pay to anu guide before you try to find Rashid the best guide in the world!!

The Riad had stunning interiors, renovated to very high standards.     The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. He organized our pickup and return to the train station and also a side trip we took. The gourmet dinner we had in the ryad was fantastic. - The Ryad Salama is as perfect as it gets, beautiful location, garden with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners each night. We can't rave about our experience there enough! Hats off to Michel, an extremely hard-working owner who makes it all seem effortless!!!!

    We stayed on the last night of our holiday because we had an early flight from the nearby airport in the morning but we wish we had stopped longer. The hotel is comfortable and nicely furnished, the rooms are excellent, the food was very nice, if slightly limited and the swimming pool is brilliant. Therefore the location was perfect for us. The Riad is set in the picturesque countryside with well appointed gardens and a nice swimming pool. We had a nice dinner on the terrace. It was a great final night in Morocco. Very relaxing and a great escape from the Medina.

It is a former residence of an Imam from the 17th century and could be described as a palace. A rooftop terrace, inner courtyards and gardens, and even a swimming pool in one of the courtyards.     There are not enough adjectives to describe our stay at Riad Alcantara. From the moment you are greeted at the front door and welcomed by the very friendly staff, you already feel relaxed and at home.
