The Riad is beautiful and we had a great room up on the terrace. Christine and her staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is more than sufficient in the morning with fresh squeezed OJ. The location is hard to find at night when we arrive but once we knew where it is, we go in and out like we live there. It is right in the Medina and close to the train station so we just rolled our luggage to and from and also because the taxi doesn't want to take us for such a short distance. I highly r.
all reviews » Wonderful, elegantly decorated Riad in the centre of Rabat medina. The Riad is huge and nonetheless there are only few rooms, so it never gets busy. The place is furnished in beautiful mix of moroccan+modern design...I liked it a lot. There is a spacious rooftop where to have breakfast, which, by the way, is really good. The staff prepares something different for breakfast everyday and the guy even ran out to buy eggs because we had asked some. It's also quite easy to find and located close to . This place is so beautiful and the owner and his Mom were very helpful. They were just very kind and wanted to make sure you have the best stay with them. Breakfast was plenty with fresh fruits. This is the best riads that we stayed in Morocco, we were in Marrakesh twice, Fes and Rabat. Location is perfect close to the modern part of Rabat n close to the Rue de Consul street. Very friendly staff indeed, the lady who runs this is really welcoming, despite us not being able to speak French. The room was beautiful and spacious. It also had ac and was nicely decorated. The location is excellent, though a little hard to find: right in the medina but close enough to new town. Also close to the incredible Kesbah. Great breakfast on the beautiful rooftop. Attention to detail was obvious from the very tasteful design, combing modern with traditional, to the freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade yogurt, just cooked crepes, fruite, cakes and great coffee - a different menu each morning. Bathroom is separated only by a white curtain. Moroccan breakfast is served on the rooftop every morning. Beautiful house! I'm in love with this place!. everything. wifi was not well connected up in our room or our level...so we need to go downstairs to get better connection. Christine speaks French but she has staff that can help communicate and with my broken French, we worked out just fine. This is an excellent place to be and I would stay here again when I visit Rabat. No hand soap in the bathroom, and no shower mount (but everything else was done so well). The doona was too warm for time of year - a light blanket would be perfect. Bathroom/toilet area is separated from the rest of the room only by a white curtain. So, if you are not very intimate with the one you are sharing the room, it might be awkward. No proper screening of en suite shower room. A bit short on obvious creature comforts like a toilet roll holder, no proper wardrobe or hanging space. Needs a better heater in winter.Less importantly, room door locking needs to be simplified or repaired. Toilet not really detached from sleeping room (good be a challenge for a couple). Toilet was separated only by a see-through paravan in our room. Parking is difficult. The street in front of the riad is a bit dirty. But when you enter the riad it is clean and very peacefull. internet was not good, bathroom was open plan - not to our taste but probably ok for others. Hard to find as no sign to see from main road. No tv or tea/coffee tray. All was excellent.
