Location Staff very friendly, help us to organize our city tour, very lovely moroccan-style design of the riad made by the owner. In every thing you can feel love and care, including the couple of lovely canaries Big Eagle and Juliet, Riad has terrace with view to medina , a lot of differenr flowers and place for tea or coffe. Only 10 min by foot to the main square of old town and other attractions. There are possibility to get tasty dinner for reasonable price.
all reviews » Location. It's inside the Medina which makes it an easy and interesting walk to 'all things'. Nice people running the place. Fun to stay in a very old riad. The number two guy had to be the happiest individual I've ever encountered in my life. Meknes was a nice change from Marrakesh. Many fewer tourists and many, many fewer locals trying to separate you from your money. Perfect service, very friendly and helpful owner and great rooms. The breakfast on the rooftop was amazing. Unbelievable value for money. By the way, the Riad is not too hard to find if you tell the taxi driver to go to "Bab Berdaine" (around 500m from the hotel). We had an excellent stay and I would definitely go there again. And the city of Meknès is really worth a visit. We had a 4 person room with ensuite and it was great, clean, comfortable and furnished beautifully. Good breakfast included, wifi and they also did some washing for us. The Moroccan man working there was very helpful and even went back to a restaurant to get some money back for us when he found out they overcharged us. Thanks for an excellent stay. Everything! It is possible to make a trip to the archaeological site of Volubilis, which is very interesting. Room very comfortable and spacious (suite for 4 persons). Quite clean and with A/C. I had a large room with an enormous bathroom,aircon, a heater.I've got for my breakfast an excellent omelette instead the cheese la vache qui rit.Wifi was OK. Nothing. There's nothing negative mentionable. The riad is the opposite end of the medina from most of the attractions, but no problems asking local people for directions. Just watch out for tourist traps along the way. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. Hat taken a long time until we get breakfest. But then the breakfeast was great. Hard to find. Call them to meet you or get a guide. Hardly to find the location. A room with no windows. Unfortunately, during our stay held in the atrium of disco and there were many young people and terrible noise. We wanted to relax in the afternoon, but it did not work. Pesonál While apologizing, but it was a mistake. Meknes is not so nice city, like others in Morocco, a little disappointed us. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Food is disgusting and kitchenware looks dirty. Your stomach will thank you... There is a discrepancy between the booked price (58 € for two nights) and the real price for the room (70 € + local tax). I do not know where the mistake lies, but this is not acceptable and should never happen. Location was bad, very far from Bab Mansour.I spend a lot of money for taxi trying to see something without a good map. In three days I couldn't see a maid cleaning my room.Towels, sheet with a dubious colour. The bed was very hard. The owner was polite but totally unhelpful. Disco music at 6am.
