The 6 of us had such a great time. Simo and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful, arranging a traditional Morroccan meal for our late arrival, advising us on sights and restaurants and organising a day at a beautiful private pool when the temperature hit 40! The location within the medina next to the Royal Palace is great and although the walk to Jemaa el fna takes 10-15 minutes it means you see more of the side streets plus the palace walls with nesting storks. Very helpful and friendly staff - they said 'This is your home' and it felt as such. Lovely Riad tucked away from the madness of the Marrakech. The breakfasts were excellent and the evening meal we had. It was very comfortable and reasonably priced. They were lovely with our 4yr old daughter. The managers and staff are really friendly and helpful. The view from the upper terrace is spectacular and it is very close to the souk and Djeema El Fna. There is a jacuzzi and many possibilities of enjoying the sun on sun beds etc. Very nice stay. One morning we had to go at 7 o'clock and the staff got up and made a nice breakfast for us.

We spent a really great time at the Riad Matham. The interior is hard to compare to anything else in Europe, which gives its charm, Thierry's hospitality and the staff's compliance and kindness was very comforting after a day full of adventures in Marrakech. The cuisine is worth trying out.

We cannot speak too highly of Riad Matham. The building has been beautifully refurbished and offers an oasis of calm amidst the chaotic bustle of the medina. Our room was well equipped and spotlessly clean, as was the whole Riad. Meals were served in the tranquil courtyard area - our breakfasts were wonderfully presented with a balanced choice and we enjoyed our first evening meal so much that we ended up eating at the Riad for three out of the four nights - authentic Moroccon cuisine, superbly

Unless you are familiar with the medina you will never find this hotel on your own. We had the services of one of the hotel staff but there are plenty of willing helpers, who of course will expect payment (20 dirham or mad per case will do it)

Everything!! Excellent riad in a great location close to the main square. We were offered an upgrade on arrival and the room was lovely - spacious, clean, free bottle of mineral water in the room, large shower and free toiletries. The breakfast (served in Riad Karmela next door) was excellent - large selection of fruits, breads, yoghurt, pastries and cereals all served in a gorgeous courtyard. Less than 10 minutes from Jemma El-Fnaa, it's a short (& easy to navigate!) stroll to get there but you'll appreciate a bit of distance from the noise and hustle and bustle of the square and souks.
