Returned yesterday from a fantastic week spent at the Riad Nasreen in the beautiful city of Marrakech. Mohammed (the owner) and his staff were faultless and we really felt it was home from home. Mohammed arranged airport transfers for us and then met us on arrival with mint tea and biscuits which we enjoyed in the inner courtyard. The deco was beautiful and mosiacs amazing . Breakfast was at what time we wished to eat and we had it most mornings on the roof terrace. We ate in twice and had tagi.
all reviews » A really beautiful Riad,so peaceful and restful after the bustle of the madina. Lovely breakfast,sets you up for the day. The roof terrace is gorgeous, with great views. Our room was beautiful, and so clean and comfortable. We were met at the airport by our lovely taxi driver Mohammed,who welcomed us,and helped with our luggage, and escorted us right to the Riad,very welcome as I don't think we would have found it ourselves down the maze of alleyways. He also took us on a lovely trip to the At. What a wonderful place to stay. The owner and staff were so helpful and friendly. Someone was always available to answer questions and advise on excursions, directions and places to go. Our transfers were arranged and at the airport to meet us. We just had to request something and it was arranged nothing was to much trouble. Hot chocolate, fresh fruit salad, lunches. They booked tables at restaurants to watch the sunset, booked a hammim which was wonderful and relaxing. Every where was very . It is really one of the most beautiful and cozy places we have ever stayed in. It is relaxing, quiet, absolutely clean and beautiful, seems to be in 1001 nights fairy tale. The breakfast is perfect, fresh orange juice, eggs, homemade cakes, bread, butter, yummy jam and whatever you may dream in the morning on the sunny terrace with a stunning view over Marrakech. The owner is the kindest person we met in Morocco, he explained everything we needed to know and helped us with transfer, he even cal. I stayed at Riad Nasreen for 5 nights during a 2-week trip to Morocco with 2 of my grown children. We traveled around, and stayed at several different places, including other Riads, traveler's hotels, and hostels. Riad Nasreen was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was conveniently located in the Medina, quiet, clean, and well-run. The staff was helpful, professionally trained, and friendly. The decor was beautiful, the beds really comfortable, and the food absolutely delicious. Out host. The riad was beautiful in a very quiet location, but near to all the bustle of Marrakech. The host was very welcoming and showed us how to get everywhere we needed on a map, making some recommendations of things to see, places to eat etc. He arranged a taxi transfer to the aiport for us at a very reasonable price and we were picked up at the Riad. He was very flexible regarding payment, accepting a mixture of dirhams, euros, pounds, creditcards so we were able to get rid of all our dirhams a. Nasreen is beautifully decorated and maintained in a traditional style. It is clean, quiet, and serene. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to points if interest but far enough away to enjoy seclusion. The best attribute is truly the staff. They are so warm and hospitable! As a female traveling solo, I was a little apprehensive about venturing out. Mohamed, Ishmit, Fatima and his staff made sure I was comfortable, arranged guides and made this feel like home. I'll always remember this. Riad Nasreem is an oasis of peace and tranquility in a vibrant and exciting city. It's a beautiful place to stay, within walking distance of the main square and souks, with the friendliest, most helpful staff. Nothing is to much trouble for Mohammed and his team. The rooms are stunning and the roof terrace is a joy. Good food, fantastic service and a fiendly atmosphere in a truly beautiful and brilliantly located Riad. Would recommend it to anyone. The Riad Nasreen is a really good place to stay to discover the ancient city of Marrakech. Our stay was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager was very generous with providing advice, and took a genuine interest in our trip and itinerary, providing even his personal phone number to call at any time should the need arise. The riad itself is very classic, not overdone like some are.I Cannot recommend Mohammed the Manager enough. He went above and beyond what most Managers do. Donna, Australia. The place is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are immaculate, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast is served whenever you feel like it. They stock beers and wines and will serve you until you're done. It's just a few minutes walk from souk and a few minutes more onto the main square. In the evenings if you choose to eat there the food is delicious. The staff was great: very helpful, prompt and worried about our stay and needs (eg: they organize excursions and also are able to pick you up on the airport for only 15 euros) . The breakfast was delicious and the room was large and comfortable for 3-4 people. If you want to experience a stay in the middle of Medina but also with quietness, this Riad is definitely the best choice. A beautiful, quite riad, not far from Jemaa el-Fnaa. Mohamet and staff are very kind, helpful and welcoming. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. There is also a terrace on the roof, if you want chill out after chaotic day in Marrakesh. At the first time, it's not easy to get to the Riad, you might get lost inside of Medina... but it's also easy to get used to the way. Breakfast could be more diverse. It is very difficult to find the raid for the first time, as there is no signs/tips on the road. The location in the Medina meant a walk through the narrow streets through a very poor area. It was not threatening but distressing. Everything was fantastic. Marrakech can be intimidating but the Riad staff are so friendly and hospitable that you feel relaxed when you get there!. difficult (impossible without help) to find. But thats Marrakech. Nothing. hard mattress, room a bit on the small side. Nothing. Maybe a more varied breakfast. It was nicce but not to healthy.
