Very nice Riad. Conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from the main square. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful with everything; breakfast was just excellent!!! And the room was nice and very well decorated. I strongly recommend it!!
We loved this riad! It was absolutely beautiful. William and Khansa were so very helpful. We were very sad to leave.
Lovely, lovely Riad. William and Khansa were very welcoming . Arrived in the evening so we were very pleased with being picked up at the airport and guided to the Riad through the crazy evening traffic! We were given a delicious meal in front of an open fire, much needed. The Riad is in a very good place, with easy directions to the Sqaure ( once you've done it once ) takes about 10 mins. The gorgeous roof terrace is just what you need to rest after a morning in the Souks or square. Comfortable and peaceful. The weather in November was perfect, 21 degrees in day and cooler at night ( but certainly not cold) really good time to visit Marrakech I think. Take it slowly! You can wear yourself out easily. Be polite and smile to people and you won't have any problems.
We were only there for 3 nights and had twin room on ground floor. If staying for longer would recommend a bigger room upstairs , as very little storage/hanging space for clothing. It was fine for us though, as we came very minimal.
Stayed for 5 nights in the Majorelle room which was very comfortable and quiet (air-con and wi-fi worked great, comfy beds). Fantastic hospitality and advice - the staff could not be any more friendly and helpful. Excellent (and varied) breakfasts each morning on the lovely rooftop terrace. A nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech
Not a complaint, although well placed to access all the major sites in Marrakech, at times (after 3 solid days of site seeing and still feeling the effects of jet lag) it seemed a good distance from Djemaa el Fna.
The owner was very helpful and friendly The rooms was a good size and clean The location was excellent The food at the Riad was very good
I was a bit concerned that there was no locks on the bedroom doors, as I had brought my laptop with me. It turned out to be fine as the building itself is secure.
Well looked after. Provided water as soon as we got there. Had ameal there which was excellent. Breakfasts good. Beautiful room.
Nothing really.
The staff are really friendly and provide the right information and advice. The location is perfect as is close to markets but not right in the middle. Ask for someone to meet you as to get there is a bit tricki if you are not used to the laberynths in Marrakesh. The rooms are superb, clean and very comfortable.
Naima (sorry I spelt that wrong) was absolutley fantastic - like a mother. The Riad was just beautiful. Could not fault it in any way.
Nothing - it was perfect
the saff is good and helpfull
the location is too poor and not good for travelers and hard to reach.
Riad El Wiam was an amazing oasis in the maze of the medina. The interior decoration and layout displays superb craftsmanship compared to the exterior. The staff were happy to prepare special meals for our dietary requirements, and these were all very delicious.
A very pleasant place to stay in Marrakesh. Whilst in the middle of the busy Medina, it is totally quiet and relaxing which is great after a day of exploring the Medina, sightseeing and shopping in the nearby huge souk. We were received very well and Khansa took exceptionally well care of us, on a couple of occasions way above expectations! Breakfast was excellent and different each day. We also received good advice on restaurants, shopping and things to see.
