The riad is a perfect stay in Marrakesh. It is beautifully refurbished. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, in simple, but very relaxing and comfortable Moroccan style. The location of the riad is excellent, few minutes from the buzzing Medina main square, but very quiet and off the noise and the crowded streets. all reviews » The Riad Bamileke is like an oasis in the middle of a chaotic city. It is located next to the main square but once you step inside you forget about the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The room was fantastic, really big and clean. The patio and roof terrace are perfect to relax. Simone was so helpful which really made a big difcerence. He collected us from the airport, he took the time to show us around the most important sites of Marrakesh and was available at all times to help us out. I highly. The location was excellent - 3-5 min walking from jemaa el fna, but inside the riad it was perfectly quiet, an oasis of tranquility. If we were to return to marrakech, we would definitely stay there again. The riad is 5 min walk from the souqs and the big square. The room was very big, clean, confortable and quiet considering the noise from the streets of Marrakesh. Everything was great once we found the riad. Do not trust Google maps with this address, it directs you to Bahia palace. Riad is near Jemaa el Fna, as indicated on the maps. Really, everything was perfect. Nothing. Our room was beside the narrow street which had enough walkers and cart pullers throughout all hours of the night that created fairly loud noise. In some ways it did not disturb us because we often went to bed exhausted, but it was quite loud at times during the night. Same breakfast every day. Perhaps a choice would have been nice. Only no tv in rooms and recepcion. Nothing.
