I fully endorse and agree with the comments of Mr Aleksandar- Serbia and also would like to add that staff is very caring and co-operative. Our flight was in the evening and Hotel check out time was by 12pm I.E., five hours early, so we asked them to allow us two hours further stay and they did without any hesitation, for example. Really it has Value for the money with good location and facilities. Thanks for the Hotel.com who recommended it.

staff so kind and helpful, roof top pool relaxing, bed comfortable, great location

advertised mini bar was just an empty fridge..no alcohol served in hotel..not allowed to bring outside food or drinks into hotel (liquor store across the street, can only drink in room, not in public areas of hotel) breakfast was not at all impressive, some fresh fruit would have been nice..

Really like the hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast, helpful staff, lovely roof top pool, English movie channel, spotlessly clean, quiet location even though quite central, not far from the airport

We were lucky enough to be upgraded by the amazing staff at this great value for money hotel. The suite was full size and the bed was very comfortable. Located near the main street and some great restaurants,

Breakfast could have been better, not much on offer for the European traveler.

A very comfy hotel at a very good location. It is not in the fuss of the medina, yet a walking distance away. The facilities are very good.

The room was as described and everthing worked as it should. We arrived late, around 10.30pm, and we're told by reception that the restaurants in the area would be closed. Well, we walked outside and on the corner was a very busy simple style fish restaurant. It was really different and threw us straight into the local scene. Great choice of fish at very reasonable prices! The roof pool was very welcome, although there are limited loungers available (very low and difficult to gracefully arise from).

The desciption "mini bar" just means fridge, but we did find an unobtrsive well stocked drinks store just across the road.

Hotel Almas was really beautiful and modern. My friend and I wanted to a respite from the old medina and the bustle of Jemma el Fna - where so many hotels and riads are located. We chose this hotel because it had a pool and patio (which was wonderful!) and because it was so close to the train station and a lot of nice restaurants in Guliez. We highly recommend!

While breakfast is actually pretty good (compared to most all hotels and riads in Morocco), one day there were no eggs and the staff were not willing to make the effort to get some. While this is a minor issue and not really a big deal, when one is paying good money to stay, the least the staff could do is go out around the corner (literally) and buy 2 dozen eggs from the local Hanut for about 36 dirham (4 Euro).

My boyfriend and I booked a two night stay here on a trek through Marrakech. Having never been to the city before we didn't know much about location, ammenities or prices. Fortunately this place is like a diamond in the rough!!! For the price we paid a night ($60 us) we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and luxurious the rooms and building looked. This hotel is located close to the city train hub and in the heart of the "new city". There are many restaurants, bars and shopping right around the corner. Additionally, it is a short ride to the Medina and traditional sights including the Kasbahs and Yves Saint Laurent garden. The staff here are basically the nicest people we met on our trip and provided us with outstanding concierge services including navigating routes to restaurants, setting up day excursions (highly recommend the camel rides!) and allowing us a super late check out to ensure we got everything in. We both agree this was one of the better parts of our trips and when we come back we will gladly book with Hotel Almas again!!

Bed was huge but happened to be two full beds connected together. It was still super comfy though!!

- The guy on reception was extremely helpful and gave us tips for dealing with taxi drivers in the area - you should only pay 20D to get to the medina and back. - Our room was very spacious and had a small separate sitting area and a balcony with table and chairs. - The pool area was lovely. - The breakfast was as good as a continental breakfast can be. - Good location for shopping - near a Zara and Mango. - 'Winoo' was a nice place to grab some food, only a couple of doors down from the hotel.

- Saw a couple of people get splinters up on the roof terrace. Keep your shoes on!

Great hotel brill staff immaculate rooms with a nice balcony huge comfy bed air conditioning , good breakfast , lovely rooftop pool with free clean towels this is a 15/20 min walk to main square along Mohammed v avenue the hotel kind of joins this road , gueliz the district is great very cosmopolitan lots of ace places to eat and cool bars a nice contrast to the bussle of the square

The street it's on is a bit scruffy but don't let that put you off it's fine and safe and this is Marrakech after all some streets are like that

Location is great (right in the new town) if you dont want to be inside the Medina. Price seems ok.

Service at arrival was terrible: we asked if our car was correctly parked and they it was perfect and we needn't worry, only to get back to it after 10min and see that we had a ticket. Misunderstandings happen, but the reaction from the hotel staff after this event was very unpolite and unfriendly. Breakfast is terrible too (both in options and quality).

that I will not be forced to go again

Our car was vandalized in front of the hotel with security guy of the hotel on the site, and the management of the hotel didn`t care about, without any support for us. Breakfast was so poor. Bad hospitality and unfriendly personal.

good conditioning system, paintings in lobby area

First of all, my request about hypoallergic pillows was ignored; I have to use second blanket as a pillow. The bed (double) is very tiny, really kid-size, not tall enough even to lie stretched (I'm just 1,78m). Internet connection was very poor, breakfest - disgusting. Result - total disappointment
