We were told when we arrived that the suite that was booked for us (family room accommodating 5)Beas not available. We were given two options. We settled on a suite which was fantastic.   The Riad Dar Eliane is simply stunning. The room was really clean and big - it looked beautiful in the pictures but it is actually even nicer.   This place is a little palace, all is beautifull decorated and our room was comfortabel, clean and well cared, there were even bathrobes. Frenck made our stay very pleasant.He is a really nice host, and knows the meaning of hospitality. He made our stay the best we have had in Morocco. We didn t used the swimming pool because it was a bit too cold... what people say » for us, but next month the pool will be heated. This makes the place one of the best for staying inside the medina from Marrakech. - Riad Puchka is the real deal if you want to experience authentic medina life! It is a bit off the beaten track, in real morroccon living quarters, yet still a comfortable 10 minute walk to the djemnaa square. it is a safe neighbourhood ( we're 2 women travellers)The riad itself has wonderful rooms,-(only 4, which means privacy and quietness) the swimming pool and jacuzzi were a nice break from hot summer days.

From there ... what people say » you can get straight into the magical streets of Medina, get lost in the Souks, do the walk to Jama El Fna, to feel the atmosphere of the place. - The pool was a splendid retreat after a hot dusty day in the Medina. The room was large and roomy, and the air conditioning made sleeping perfect. Breakfast we well appointed and different each day we were there. The staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful spot in the midst of the center of town.
