  Very pleasant hotel, with impressive atrium seating area, decent pool and clay tennis courts. Essentially it's a sort of French version of a Thompsons hotel. Good breakfast, large room and ideally placed for exploring Marrakech (see guide below). Would certainly recommend Les Idrissides. There are a selection of varying hotel standards to fit your choice but, more importantly, it is centrally connect - The family rooms are fantastic. You could lose yourself in the suite. The rooms were really spaceous, great faccilities, hotel really gets everyone involved with alot of events taking place, pools were great, easy to exchange money. The maids cleaning the room used the towels to create patterns etc on the beds which the kids really loved. They also always left sweets and rose petals on the beds every nice was was great. Breakfast was a fantastic selection, not far from the centre, all taxis

The hotel although a modern building had lots of traditional mooriish style fitments...i.e. lovely wooden decorated ceilings,, carved doors and patterned tile floors. The breakfast each day was varied and good except for one complaint. I used the pool twice during our visit and it was ide - Well-placed within reasonable walking distance of Djemaa el Fna square, this is a typical city hotel. The glass of tea and a pastry on arrival was welcome, and car parking was easy. Clean, comfortable, and an excellent buffet breakfast by the pool, which sadly we didn't have time to try!

Location is also very convenient as it is next to the bus and train station. Would definitely stay there ag - Loved everything about this hotel, one of the best beds I've slept in in Morocco - really lovely staff who could not do enough. Superbly located close to the main station in an upmarket district with good cafes and patisseries and some designer boutiques. Gorgeous roof terrace!
