  The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. He organized our pickup and return to the train station and also a side trip we took. The gourmet dinner we had in the ryad was fantastic. - The Ryad Salama is as perfect as it gets, beautiful location, garden with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners each night. We can't rave about our experience there enough! Hats off to Michel, an extremely hard-working owner who makes it all seem effortless!!!!

  We stayed in Riad Jean Claude for two nights in October. We booked the Fes twin room because this was the only one available. Like the Meknes room this room is situated on the highest floor of the Riad. The room has a private terrace which gives you a great view over the Fes medina. The room was quite small but offered just enough space for our lu... what people say » ggage. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom had a good shower and all facilities we needed. But there is - Jean Claude was the most helpful friendly host you could possibly find. He collected and dropped us off at the bus station and helped us with onward tickets. The riad was in an excellent location very close to the medina but just far enough away to be quiet. The swimming pool was great to have after a hot day exploring. The delicious breakfast was served in a lovely garden setting and the view from the balcony was spectacular

  A delightful stay with wonderful and friendly staff. Location is away from the hustle and bustle which was a nice reprieve and handy to get to with a vehicle. Dinner was amazing and well worth the price (we are dinner there twice - the Tagine was fabulous). Breakfast was also lovely. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend to have a dinner in the Ryad - the cooking is excellent. The location near a door of the Medina allowed to arrive by car or taxi without getting lost.   You know the places that change your view point about the beauty, human kindness and cross cultural experience?! Well, Dar Gnaoua is one of those places! The facilities are truly beautiful, it's like spending a night in the museum. The terrace that overlooks the Medina of Fez is breathtaking, during the day and the night. Next time I plan to go to Fez, I'm not even going to look for other places t - We had great two nights in the Dar Gnaoua, mostly because of the great host Ahmed, who was very friendly and cared alot about our wellbeing. Our room was good and clean, as was the bathroom. We had our room next to the terasse, which was the highlight of the riad. You have a beatiful view from there in the morning our at night. The breakfast has been nothing special, but totally ok and tasty. You could use the nice kitchen for cooking, the riad itself has a nice maroccian flair.
