The hotel has a beautiful interior, and is nicely decorated with all things moroccan. They email you directions on how to get to the hotel when you arrive at R'cif Square which were perfect, and made it much easier to find. I arrived in Fez at night, and I was harassed on the street by a guy who followed me the whole way and kept calling me names and told me I was going the wrong way even though he didn't know where I was going. Thanks to the directions given by the hotel, I didn't have to pay .
all reviews » Great place to stay! The rooms are nice (a bit dim but it really gives you the feeling of being in a riad) and they have the best showers. Ben, the host, is also one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet. He arranged a free ride for us from the train station and helped us get a guide for the medina. It was really nice just hanging out him and the other people who are staying there in the common room with music in the background. Breakfast was also reaaaaaally good! You get a huge selection of pa. Me and my wife spent 4 nights in this beautiful place. The owner, Ben was great, he was very kind and helpful, he speak in english and he also has a lot of tourist information. The breakfast was great and also you can take it in the terrace with the best view of the Medina. The location is good, near the Rcif square (bus and taxi stop), close to the important things to see. I recomend this place to all of the people, after a long day of walking, there is nothing better than being there with a m. The rooms were very nicely decorated. The common area was a great place to hang out and meet people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ben helped us sort out bus tickets, a taxi to the dessert and a dessert trip. I enjoyed the hostel so much I came back for another night. Ben let us store our backpacks at the hotel for a few days so we could travel light. Dar Lalla Kenza is a beautiful little Riad with a nice roof terrace overlooking the city of Fes. The manager is very accommodating and friendly, ensuring that you have a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is excellent as it in the medina yet reachable by car and easy to get to both from the train station and the bus station. Ben was instantly very friendly and would help us in any way possible. There was a great atmosphere which made it very easy to make new friends. The building was beautiful and very well maintained. I would recommend this place for anybody. We loved our stay. the guay was very nice helpful location very easy and near by the centre of old medina... the house very clean has nice and beautiful view good luck for ben. This hostel was a nice place to stay and is near the medina of Fes. It was a little bit tricky to find, but after hiring a local we were able to find it. original marroccan house, very clear and comfortable, staff is very gentle, and Ben the young boss is a supporter of "Palermo" football team :))) loooool. The building is an ornately decorated, three story Riad, with a rooftop terrace overlooking Fes. It's in a convenient location for exploring the city. Staff were very attentive, helpful and very accommodating... Location for exploring and getting around the Medina... Cosy family feel to it. Good location away from the most touristy part of the Medina. Beautiful, old building. Good access to taxi/bus. Perfect, we really enjoyed our stay at Dar Lalla Kenza. staff young and friendly. nice terrace and good living with many other people. Great host. Great breakfast. Great room. It's a bit dim in the room, making it difficult to see where things are, especially when you're packing. No hand towel, soap or shampoo. That we had to leave. ; ). Nothing at all. an juventus f.c. supporter inside the ryad during my vacation ;)). I booked the Dar Lalla Kenza thinking it was a guest-house type of Riad, but this is primarily a hostel with a few private en-suite rooms. Although our rooms were beautiful, they were close to the main, communal courtyard which could become a bit noisy when several guests gathered there and music was playing. Not much to dislike. Nothing. small bathroom without bath products. The surroundings are ugly.
