La Villa is an informal oasis for the casual tourist in an otherwise unremarkable town . The rooms are delightful - light, cool and très chic. The staff, although small in number, are attentive and charming. During our stay we took particular delight in our evening meals - a changing menu of both local and more exotic fare - cooked by the chef de cuisine and served on the roof terrace.

Traffic noise for guest room(s) facing the street - would request an interior room if we returned.

That there was no menu, therefore no choice over dining options. No choice to pay for less that three courses especially as the food is so heavy it would be nice to have the option of lighter food. Also no wine list so you had to pay price that was designated for wine which was completely overpriced.
