  This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend. Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade.   We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well- mar... what people say » ked – though I’d recommend coming from Bab Souk as the riad is a bit closer to this than other medina entrances. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon . Great value and quite charming

  I really liked Elias and his staff. Everybody was so nice and incredibly helpful. Twice we got lost, first when we got there, and 2nd when we went to explore the old medina and got all turned around, and Elias came to our rescue both times. I would highly recommend Casa Elias anyday! - The owner,Elias is the nicest person we have met in Morroco. It was freezing at the night in chefchaouen, but he brought us 2 heaters. He also helped us book bus tickets to Fez. The rooms were clean and we'll decorated, enough space for 6 people. Wifi connection was also fine. And from the terrace, you can see the fine view of the town.

  Casa Hassan is outstanding, clean, friendly people and very artistic. I have stayed there on many occasions while living in Spain and would highly recommend it. Food is good in their downstairs restaurant and the entire riad is representing the artisanal of morocco.   What a wonderful Riad! Chefchouen is my favorite city in Morocco and I can't have imagined a better place to stay! Mohammed was so kind and helpful, always taking our calls and assisting us with anything from directions to dinner reccomendations. The view from the riad was magnificent. There's no front desk or reception area- which for us was not ... what people say » a problem. You really get a sense of indepence which is nice in a city that's so amazing to explore, safe, and welcoming to tourists. I highly reccome - The location in the Medina was great and the private terrace had a beautiful view. Bathroom was clean and it had a great shower. Very affordable - good value for money. A pleasant and quiet place, which made for a relaxing stay in Chefchaouen.
