We love staying in luxury hotels and this one fits the bill. The drive up to the hotel is gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We received a free upgrade and had an amazing view of Monte Carlo from our window. The bathroom was large with a large shower and high quality hair dryer - important when you have long hair. The breakfast buffet was incredible! Plenty of choices. The hotel's location is perfect. It's close enough to see the casino, but far enough away as not to be affected.
all reviews » We booked the hotel for our wedding anniversary as a special treat and the hotel was perfect, the service was friendly and impeccable. We booked a deluxe room with a sea view, and had excellent views of the casino. We eat in the restaurant one evening and had the tasting menu which was excellent. We eat breakfast on the restaurant balcony every morning and the staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel is located in an excellent position near the main square. It is a charming hotel,with a slightly Belle Epoque air, very quietly efficient and not a game-boy in sight. Wonderful....also very dog friendly at an extra charge. The staff could not have been more helpful or kinder with various requests and as a single,female traveller did not make one feel odd not to have a man in tow ! I would now stay there whenever I was visiting Monte Carlo. We stayed there for 4 days. My friend had her birthday the third day. We did not mention anything. They found out the date (from the passport copy???). When returned to the room we found a b-day cake waiting for us and a hand written letter from the head if the pr wishing happy birthday! How super professional is that! Small details that count!. The hotel was possibly the friendliest, most professional and delightful hotel we have staying in over the past 30 years. Definitely the friendly staff and fair reception people whith super express fair check-ou,t very meaningful to myself. Excellent and helpful staff !!, delicious breakfast, cosy bar, wonderful rooms. Slightly more expensive than we would have liked for drinks and eating but served with such flair we will just have to save up more next time we go!. Some areas of the hotel are not well covered by wifi like pool side of the hotel. Monte Carlo has become too crowded. The staff are super freindly but when I was there there seemed to be a continuous series of accidents in the bar - dropping glasses and trays. Otherwise no complaints. service at the bar. Room has no veiw , no facility ,pillow not comfortable at all ..in total room has no value for mony. overpriced, old, snobby staff.
