  We absolutely enjoyed our 8-days stay at Zamas in the first week of October. The cabanas of Zamas are wonderful - we love the colourful, authentic Mexican-style - all the cabanas and the restaurant are made with a loving touch, and so happily different from standarsized accommodations.   Our 2nd visit, like the 1st last year was a great end to our holiday. Stefan, Sabine & (on his return) Charles made us feel very welcome & were most obliging.Breakfast is now buffet style but still very tasty & the available add-ons to the included-breakfast (of juice, coffee, toast with honey or jam, cake) are varied enough to suit al... what people say » l tastes. The rooms are spacious, with the very pretty locally-painted washbasins, lovely hot shower, & hammocks in addition to the conventional b - The staff was extremely accommodating of my requests (decorating our room with balloons and making a birthday cake for my friend's birthday before our arrival). The facilities were very clean, breakfast included was an excellent perk. (although service was always a bit slow so not for those that are in a rush!). Filtered water container was just outside our room's entrance. Dips in the swimming pool at midnight were the perfect cap to our days. The best part is that it feels very secluded from

  hotel palma real was very budget friendly. it was cleaned daily and had a nice view for birding on the back deck or roof. the pool was nice and the staff let us use the fridge. we met other travelers there and were able to congregate in the lobby without interruption. the location is great for traveling to Coba and back or even to Tulum and back.... what people say » The A/C worked great. - The staff was friendly. I don't normally join many group exercise or entertainment activities but I loved it here. The resort is 7km north of the Tulum ruins, so you can easily visit from there. Also the casa cenote which is only a short bike ride down the road is worth a visit - the resort has free bike rental by the way! It's a new resort that has just opened so there may not be many reviews yet but I would definitely recommend. I can't wait to return here mys
