  All the people working here was very helpful and friendly. There was always a person at the reception. We had breakfast at the restaurant (not included in the price) and it was very great and not expensive. We were four ladies traveling and they watched after us. Rooms are air conditioned, and kept clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast is more than enoug - Good, clean, basic room with hot water. Staff was friendly and the breakfast included was good. No complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room, but not absolutely necessary. Good location and my room was in the back and 3rd floor - so no noise as long as you ran the ceiling fan and air conditioner.

  We booked 1 night here but after staying the night we kept extending it for another 4. The ladies at check in are so friendly and helpful. We had a mishap with our luggage at the airport and they instantly came to our rescue in sorting the situation out, so much so that the next morning we woke up to the girls at the check in offering to bus back ... what people say » to the airport on a mission to get our baggage talk about service!! The rooms are large and spacious and light ( I recommend a balcony room). The guys - Very friendly staff, large rooms with extremely comfortable and large bed. A few yards from an amazing beach.   We decided very well in advance for Reina Roja for our one week stay in Playa del Carmen, and we are so glad we did. It's a very original theme and concept. We had a Junior suite and it was huge, a lot of space; a big bathroom and shower, a a nice balcony with a maniqui looking over the street. The roof top pool was a nice spot to spend some quiet hours in the afternoon after coming coming back from the - I liked Cintia and Luis. They were very very hostile and sweet. I hope next time we go we'll see them again. The location is also perfect. The staff in the restaurant also very sweet. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and though there is light all around the hotel in the room you can do total darkness. Overall loved the place. Recommend it for younger couples/people.
