Service was excellent. Rooms were good size and clean. When we needed to fix the air conditioning. Needed new battery in the control, it was sorted in five minutes. We also ate in the restaurant, which was good too. Great central location in heart if historic centre. Would go back. The staff was perfect. I cannot complain at all. It would be great if coffee was available before 07:30 before early birds like me. The location is also perfect. I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Oaxaca.

The rooms all face on to internal courtyards, as do many Mexican hotels that we have stayed in... One of the rooms was a little dark. Our other was fine. So not all rooms are equal. No coffee before 07:30. Wick problems the first few days. Room was a little on the small side. A bit noisy as the location is very central. The ground floor room overlooked the patio, so if the windows were opened there was no privacy. We didn't love all the birds in a cage ... used as decor!. not a single thing. The Internet (Wifi) is very weak, could use some improvements. The wifi was poor and often had trouble staying connected. It could get noisy at night. Room service was very slow. Our room was next to the cleaners closet so it was quite noisy at 8am, as were the birds they had in cages in the courtyard (right outside our room). Poor internet connection in the rooms. The very central location is also quite noisy at night. Night front desk staff was impersonal compared of day friendly staff. Computer for guests can not print, we tried to print boarding passes for our return flight and the response from night staff was "the printer in not configured". Our room, although beautiful, overlooked the patio so anyone sitting there could see in the room. Menu was too short and in general it was a bit noisy. One can hear the noise very into midnight. The facility ok, nothing to bring home. There are much better choices in the town.
