  I like everything about this hotel. All of the staff was totally outstanding and helpful in every way. Thank you Luis and Patricia. It was very clean and well maintain....everything was spotless. The location was great as we could walk to everything. The buffet breakfast was a+ and gave us the opportunity to try different Mexican food and the serv... what people say » ice was a + as well. We will go back to this hotel when we return to Merida. We love this hotel! - The staff was great! The room was big and luxe with a view on Paseo de Montejo. We got a welcome drink at the bar and where close to a nice italian restaurant.

  Merida was our first destination, and this was our first trip to the peninsula. We were not prepared for how run-down and chaotic the city would be. Driving a rental car around, trying to find our hotel and then the parking lot was very confusing and a little bit scary at first. The Dolores Alba is charming and - Near the historic center where you can enjoy a touch of history (able to walk there, but just one block too far to really be in the vivid part). Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok but quite simple, nothing special. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Parking lot is definitely a bonus (free and totally private and thus very safe to leave your car).

  We stayed in Room 6, a king room next to the pool. The room was bright, spacious and clean. The room had a bathroom, tv (with some English channels), fan, a/c and safe. The bed was big and comfortable - we also had a hammock in the room (nice touch). The pool was small but nice for a cool dip. Breakfast was really nice - fresh fruit, juice, coffee... what people say » /tea, yoghurt and soft bread rolls with jam. It is served in a covered outdoor area next to the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially - (1) We had a rental car and was able to park in a designated parking area for free as street parking was limited. (2) Stayed in room 4 and had 2 big, firm beds which we liked. (3) Enjoyed the continental breakfast which included yogurt and fruit. (4) Central location which allowed us to walk to a number of Centro attractions. (5) Shampoo/conditioner came in a big bottle and body soap dispenser was attached to the wall and there was plenty of water pressure and hot water.
