What people say
We read all of the reviews and thought what the heck for two days! It
surpassed our imagination in the eclectic art work and gardens. A great
many of the artifacts /art were antique and represented the culture
of Merida. The pool was fabulously refreshing, breakfast was lovely on
the terrace and our room was more than adequate. What was the absolute
best was that it is located two blocks from the Zocola (city centre)
where all the action occurs. We walked to and from the zocola daily
several ti. all reviews »
The swimming pool was great.
The staff was kind.
The hotel is wonderfully funky, the Chelsea hotel of Merida. It is clean enough, beds a bit spongy. It feels safe and has lots of outdoor space to hang out in. I would stay there again.
Staff were good.
We arrived after dark and it was a bit hard to find because all of the
streets are one way in a grid and we just hadn't gone far enough!!
No complaints about the hotel.
The first room I was shown was dark with no ventilation, but they did give me a good one when I complained.
the pool wasn't working the first two days I was there.
Run down, dirty & shower not working. It was a flea-pit - but with
lovely staff.
