Hotelito presents a home-made menu of Mexican and international cuisine containing seafood and fresh organic vegetables that are grown on the extensive property. The hotel has a policy of updating its menu on a daily basis. There are two restaurants, “El Cantarito” and “Nopalito”.
With a generous dose of creativity, Hotelito Desconocido has an inventive system for room service that makes up for its lack of telephones, from the comfort of your bed, you may summon for coffee by simply pulling a red rope. This hoists a flag a signaling that you are ready to be served.
Breakfast and dinner are served at El Cantarito restaurant, which sits on stilts over the blue water with a view of the estuary.
The beach restaurant/bar, Nopalito, serves lunch, and provides service at the beach club as snack bar.

Information about the area
All of the activities are done along the Ermitaño estuary under supervision of the activities coordinator. A nice tour along the coastline ( 1 hour car drive) and visiting a local fisherman’s village, where you can do some snorkeling, watching the colorful fish and looking for the sunken boat by the bay. Or try a tour to the secret beach, perfect for body surfing, swimming and enjoying nature (25 to 30 min. car drive). Enjoy a 2 hour tour around the village of Cruz de Loreto where you can visit the local Church, and surroundings.

Hotelito has 24 palafitos built on stilts overlooking the crystal clear water of the lagoon or beach, only the moon or the candles lighting the way at night.
Constructed in the style of a Mexican village; Hotelito Desconocido offers guests most unusual accommodations, palafitos, bungalows built on stilts over the edge of the estuary, or snuggled in the sand dunes right on the beach. Perhaps no surprisingly, the most popular palafitos can only be accessed via water, and come equipped with a row-boat.
