The Flamingo is a very comfortable hotel in a good location on the edge of the town and close to the waterfront. The staff are courteous and friendly the bar manager Ivan is an excellent "mine host" and a great source of local knowledge whose recommendations were greatly appreciated. This was our second visit. Excellent hotel, the staff are very friendly, helpful and they like to pay attention to little details. Nothing to do with those big cold impersonal hotels. Breakfast was good, they have a laundry service (not many have this) and the room was clean, cosy and tidy. Highly recommended.
all reviews » The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The selection of music at the aqua bar is great (jazz, relaxing music) and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is located very close to the main plazza and close to nice local restaurants for lunch and dinner. The hotel was good value for the cost. The reception recommended us a good place where to rent motorbikes. room clean and nice, the staff very helpful about good places in town like where to eat and so on, there is a nice bar downstairs. It was really nice, beautiful room and very nice staff. The bartender, Ivan, was super friendly. We loved this place. Facilities and staff were excellent! Fast check-in, check-out. ivan the bartender was awesome, service was excellent all around!. Confortable and clean bedrooms. Location is ok: closed to the city centre but not too noisy. Rooms are big. It does take a while for the shower to run hot otherwise a good value for money hotel. The mosquitos, but you cannot blame the hotel for that. We liked everything. The only detail I can think of is that the courtyard for breakfast feels a little small because of the high walls around it. That's the way things are built in Cozumel though so it's really not a big issue. They could improve their roof top terrace. The room on the 1st floor was a bit noisy in the morning. There was hot water, but it took a while before coming... The safe was not working. it might be that there was flees in the couch located in the public area, the AC was so noisy that was imposible to sleep when it was turned on, no wifi in our room, two small beds instead of double bed, the breakfast that is included in price is just an awful american filter cafe with bread and jam. The hotel was great.......nothing at all to complain about!. Air con a little noisy. Very average breakfast. They offer you an upgrade for an added cost. Bathroom is old and humid, the view from the whole hotel is ugly, the bed are really not comfy...
