Nice hotel who gave a very serious impression with friendly staff, offered a lot of facilites etc. Big pool area with one pool only for adults, free towels and hotels own sun beds. Amazing beach! Very family-friendly for younger children. But a bit crowded. Hotel has a business area with computers and internet. Hotels offers shuttle to airport but taxi costs around the same. Excellent location, close to shopping malls and clubs etc. If you want to get away from the "stripe" and go into cancu.
all reviews » Very good hotel. It´s located close to malls, restaurants, but at the same time in a calm part of the touristic area. There´s a tour company at the beach, in front of the hotel (Coco Tours) that sells good tours (sailing, jet ski, lake tours), and we recommend. Very good breakfast in a good restaurant, that stays between the swimming pools and the beach. Loved everything. Resort super clean. Best beach in Cancun. excellent staff, waiters and bar tenders. Perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy the beach. Ask front desk about the bus lines. They're great. Will get you anywhere you want to go very cheaply. Trip to Playa de Carmen costs about 98 pesos for 2 round trip tickets. Depot right on 5th ave. The rooms are pretty new. The Hotelrooms were renovated recently (the hotel outside not, so it looks better from inside). Very comfortable beds. We booked the gardenview and it was awsome (you have a look on the nichupte lagoon. The have free towels for the beach. Prices are ok for drinks/food for such kind of hotels (except Internet). the front desk was great and very understanding and patient with the handful of very rude and impatient customers they had to deal with. their customer service was steadfast, and even though we didn't get the room we booked, the person we checked in with made sure we got one with a patio and a hammock. they do a great job!. The hotel is equipped with all the amenities that make the journey a real pleasure to Cancun: direct access to the beach, swimming pool with jacuzzi, a restaurant and snack service at umbrella .. and much more! The room was huge and really nice, comfortable and well furnished. Wonderful!!. We really liked that we had a small terrace with gardenview. That we got new towels for the pool every day. The employees said that we should keep moving in the bedroom to try to catch a better signal, and we don´t consider this a solution to the problem. Really unbelievable. There is no free wlan in the lobby and if you want to use the free internet on the computer you will sit in an ugly oldschool wooden chamber. Maybe you have to queue for a seat! Imagine even in coffeeplaces you get internet for free for one coffee and here for +100USD/night nothing. That is below the Standard compare to similar hotels worldwide!. nothing was bad. There is no free wifi included in the price. We expected more luxery from the pictures. The price for the wifi 29 dollars a day is absurd. Also the price of the breakfast buffet 25 dollars a day per person. Need more affordable eating options. WiFi available in the room was not free and relatively expensive. A faint musty smell in the room. Did not provide airport transportation, rooms were dusty upon arrival, staff did not notify us when excursion was cancelled due to bad weather, no free wifi, minimal closet and drawer space in rooms, crammed bathroom / sink area , lack of spa in hotel. Ok for the money but the other hotels looked nicer - looks a bit worn in places. Wifi price is ridiculous. Our room was "vista al jardin", But in reality was behind of the balcoon a Wall!. Too many steps in the main Restaurant and to the Beach. Slightly strange planning - the toilet can be observed from the room without difficulties. 20 usd for 24 hours of internet. paying for the wifi. shower too small. I got a very bad diarrhea after having dinner in the restaurant. Sales tactics upon arrival for membership sign up of some sort. The rooms do not have a black-out, so if a person does not like light early in the morning this place is not good; The rooms facing the main road are noisy. Anyone staying for 1 night might not suffer much but I would not stay there for a whole week. There is no spa and inside pool. My room costs 200$ per night and it is on the first floor with a high wall in front of the door-window making you feel to stay in prison and not in a tropical hotel. The gym is pathetic and the food very bad. I asked to change room and I was told the hotel is full but I did not see many guests. This was a nice hotel in the 90s. Now it need some refurbishment. For a one night stay it was allright, but i couldn't imagine staying here for a whole holiday. Poor internet.
