Right on the beach. Great food with lots of choices-all-inclusive. Buffet plus Italian, oriental, and seafood restaurants. Entertainment available. Comfortable accommodations. I just love this hotel. The beach/pools/views were super.The food in the specialist restaurants and buffet was really good(especially after 11 days in Cuba. I also think the wifi was really expensive and should be free in lobby. I stayed in a 3 star hotel before flying to Cuba and it was free in our room. Girsl at the front desk very a total contrast to the rest of the staff. Almost arrogant and not responsive. This seems totally weird compared to the rest of the hotel. Also rooms in the main building are propably old enough to be renovated. Although not critical at all and everything's functional. I would not rate this hotel as 5 star. I was a little disappointed with the room as it is tired and dated. The rooms need refurbishment to bring them up to a good standard. At times, when it was raining, the lounge was the only place one could sit and have a drink. Often it was so crowded and noisy we had to get drinks "to go" in plastic cups and take them to our room. Also, they had no Canadian whisky to offer such as Canadian Club. the internet cost money and the computers are very very slow. Very expensive wifi. Wifi is not free and very expensive!! The food can be improved. Pool and Jacuzzi were not clean enough. Very noisy outside the room very early at morning. The WiFi service was poor and should be free. It is grossly overpriced for what you get. Wifi was expensive and on top of that did not even work properly. Bed too small, my wife and i were waking each other every time we moved. mini bar at room. poor selection... The room was a bit out dated. Very expensive Internet. Restaurant too limit only buffet available.
