It has been nice experience staying in baan talay..the homestay had everything we needed, conveniently located within the town and bus stop. The promo rate is very helpful for budget traveller like us..hospitable & caring owner made us feel at home. Even before our arrival, he was advised us thru email ab nice local foods & sightseeing in penang.. We had a fantastic stay here lasting for a 2 weeks instead of initially planned 2 days. Very quite, large common areas, nice owners. 2 mins to local food court, 2 mins to the beach, 3 mins to the bus stop, 3 mins to the closest shop, 7 mins to Tesco supermarket with some proper restaurants. Overall highly recommended!.
I stayed at Baan talay for 1 night. I like the location, close to the beach. No need to worry about the food, because there is Viva Food Court for 5 minutes walk. Easy to reach by bus. Friendly staff & the homestay was home atmosphere.
All in all, nice place to relax, great location, reasonable price, near to the beach as its just few steps away. The owner was kind enough to let us leave our baggage there before we check in. Thanks for everything..

shared bathroom, bathroom was not clean, stains all over..every where in the bathroom. Oh, it stinks too.
Room, wall plugs was damaged, hanging out of the wall, could't charge my phone, laptop....
Cupboard & " so called" dresser with mirror is a disaster, broken...spoiled.
Cleaner knocking at my roon door asking me to checkout ASAP....coz ppl are waiting to check in...Goddnes me !!
OH I really will never stay here again.
Toilet couuld be improved by fixing and beutifying it. Ensure light bults and plug points in room works.
