  When I check in early, the hotel provides a suitable waiting area for our children to play and surf the internet. Breakfast is delicious and wide selection, you must try the 'nasi lemak' and 'sambal', the most delicious of the other dishes. Swimming pools are a wide and appropriate for our children.   This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu... what people say » tes) and hassle-free despite the throngs of people. This being the hill view rooms, it was also alot quieter in the evening. Visited the Hard Rock Caf - The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying. The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it. We booked a King's Double room and was pleasantly surprised when HRH upgraded us to a suite which is
