A bit expensive, yet it is okay. Convenient for snokelling. The facilities and service can be improved. E.G. utensils should be provided when serving the fruits; no rubbish bin is provided in the pantry area. Even we called the housekeeping for the utensils, the request was unattended eventually.

  The staff always made sure we had all we needed. The resort's private beach is exquisite and has a snorkeling trail for its clients. They also have a nice trekking path with a nice view of the tropical forest (an employee will take you there complimentarily).   The room was great, the seaview excellent. The club service was good and the evening snacks selection adequate for an afternoon tea session with friends - The club facilities were excellent. It was great to be able to have early breakfast then return for morning coffee. The city is very accessible.

  Our usual Kota Kinabalu hotel was full so we hunted around for another good budget hotel. For us, this means a clean, quiet room with everything working and air con, but we're not after anything else, like freshly painted walls, colour coordination, throw pillows etc! The aircon was super quiet and the electric shower worked fine. The staff were frie - The staff at City Park Lodge were the best things over there. The rooms were small and very basic but fine, but even when we missed our flight early the next morning they were very accommodating and helped us in whatever way they could!

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for the money. Clean room with window to road. Nice warm shower. Everything works. I could even borrow charger for cell phone. Thanks a lot - Great location, really friendly and helpful staff. We really appreciate the fact that they let us check in as early as 9 in the morning. Perfect value for money
