the team are very nice and helpful, good cooperation with all staff, it's very nice place to relax and enjoy an amazing vacation specially honeymooners and families , the design was fabulous . Breakfast was excellent. We live in Asia but really enjoyed the delicious French Toast! Good pool, clean and very comfortable room. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff were reasonably helpful. Nice pool and gardens. Close to beach and eateries.
all reviews » Hotel is one of the last accomodation gems in the whole pangkor. There is not a single better I would dare to say. Beautiful/Clean beach and with friendly local people. Systematic on public transportation. (Que system applied). all round was perfect....nothing to find any defect. near to beach and food stall. If you have been here few years ago dont go anymore... Locals are nasty littering bugs. Foods price not consistently displayed Noisy sound from next door. had mosquito in room.... swimming pool had too share with nearest hotel/villa guest as there are signboard said pool just for hotel guest only. Many fly event in my room.. The situation outside was simply shocking n horrible ...unimaginable that pangkor island has had been "raped" of all its beauty n charm . a pity bcos Anjungan resort will also be a victim of such a sad environment.I will never step into Pangkor ever again n will tell my friends the same . wat a shame. Sound isolation system between the rooms. We can still listen conversation of the guest beside our room. Tv provided but not clear channel Wifi limited in cafe area only should be get access in the room as well. Lightz at nite at d bbq area was insuficiant.. no wifi and no elevator... No Wi-Fi. Mosquito, faulty sliding door,. No greeting upon c/in. Service not offered during c/in time. No smiling( sour face ). Rude staff, barely spoke English, bad food with very small portions, didnt change bedding just made the bed for 5 days untill we noticed! Cold showers, and a very shallow pool. Staff all messing around and not really bothered about guests. Seems to be run by a gang of guys setting off bangers and hanging around in a big group. The aircond condition not good. Even I lower the temperature it still not cold. I can say the temperature is same even I increase or decrease. There is no phone room to make call to receptionist or room service. There is no iron inside or near the room. I have to go to counter and request. Since the room attach with next room, it very noisy when the customer in next room talking. Feel not privacy enough. 1. Buldings lack proper mantenance i.e. most sliding doors got stuck, cannot slide. 2. Low water pressure. 3. T.V does'nt work - very poor image. 4. Timber fittings should be more refine, all edges should be rounded not square edges which are dangerous! 5. Should provide 'husk' floor mat to rub off excess sand from feet when enter the room. 6. Should provide bed rm carpet, as the floor tiles are hard and sharp edges. 7. Cost should include brakefast. Facilities provided not bad. It would be even worthfull if provide break fast. Room service is not much impressive. breakfast was not included, fridge was empty, heater was not very hot. toilet needs fragrances. no drawers in the cabinet. no daily clean of the room even though you stayed for two nights, no breakfast provided and please described clearly of the location in the internet that your hotel not in front of the beach.... Better rent a car or bike to get there. If bag packer, a bike would be enough. I can't sleep at night due to insects bites , bed bugs .. ! Too noisy ... The pool was 24/7 packed..... Seem some people from the village go and have a Swim when they like... At least it was quiet at night.... Doors of the rooms don't seem to be very safe.... Plus be aware some staff have acces to the rooms....be aware of your pennies! As after.. nobody knows anything and suddenly forget how to speak English. very poor sound-proof, can clearly hear the conversation next door. will be better if WiFi stays on all day instead of just 10pm. We had to cross the road for the beach. We had to keep the windows and balcony closed all the time to avoid bugs and mosquito. The check out time, 11 o'clock we late above one hours want to Change us. Staff was uninterested in providing services or help. Facility was poorly managed and aging quickly. Pool was not kept clean. cleanliness, no proper parking lot for car. 1. for that price breakfast should be included 2. no newspaper 3. no gym, spa, beach view 4. staff didnt give info.for eg should had tell there was available beach mats 5. the hotel name should be just anjungan hotel because there was no beach and definit so spa and it is not a resort!. We really enjoy it..but bed and bedroom matters..not clean. Air conditioning bad. very small lack of facilities. staff are very bad. no manners. facilities are very bad. swimming pool time are very bad 10am-10pm. checkout time also very bad at 11am.. very expensive but no breakfast. very dissappointed!!. Ari condition was sucks ,location aweful .there is no staff there if there is they can not speak english,breakfast was not included,. Water leaking out from refrigerator, dark, the reception closed after 10.30pm. Wonder they wash the bed shit as there are some " white remain" on the bed shit.
