The apartment was well designed, comfortable and clean. There were 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open kitchen, dining hall and living room with one TV & astro. Wooden flooring, nice showers (no bathtubs) and all amenities were working. The location was just nice, not too near, not too far. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can park right in front of building. I like the: a. space of the apartment. (3 bedrooms, Living/Kitchen) b. Cleanliness of the apartment. c. the staff and the security of the apartment. d. the staff prompt assistance in rectifying some minor defects.
all reviews » We had a plesant stay at Malacca Hotel Apartment. The apartment is clean and well maintained. Feels like home. The children enjoyed it here with pool cater for yhem. Will definitely come back with my family. Clean. Provided basic amenities. (soap, dishwashing liquid, shampoos, towels). Air con was powerful. Swimming pool was clean. Area was generally clean too. I booked two units of 3 rooms aparments for my families. The apartments are very clean and well decorated, it is just feel like staying at home. Clean room and well maintained. Spacious apartment with pool, suitable for young families. Like the environment, convenience and comfort of the apartment. Very clean & comfortable apartment, value for money. Location is good. Don't really like the exterior looks of the apartment cos it is a little bit rundown. No wifi. The swimming pool is not so clean. Security is not tight. Would be good if they prepare coffee sachets n sugar for room guest. We have rent 2 units of apartment and paid the same amount but we cannot enjoy same valuable of the apartments. Could have provided Astro and WiFi. The furnishing is old and not very convienence to Makota Shopping Centre. the hallway outside the apartment quite dirty. Little walk from the city center. The external facade. Could be a turned off but the interior saved it. Slightly expensive Locked cabinets No cooking allowed. Very limited kitchen facilities/wares - biggest bowl is cereal bowl. No pots or pans and therefore only possible to buy snacks back to apartment.there was no facilities for cooking such as stove or micro wave as i had young children need to prepare kiddes food. Far from town centre, walking time more half an hour to reach the nearest shopping centres, even further interesting places, hard to get taxi from the hotel, not near eater outlets (the nearest more than 15 minutes walk), no extra pillows, not enough cooking utensil such as rice cooker and stove....and more..... Not recommended for shoppers and family travellers... Credit card machine not function. No car park. Facilities old. Impersonal, Pool was dirty. Felt like an abandoned complex. Bad environment. Poor facilities. Not worth a single cent. Location not very convenient. Overrated. No aircond in living hall. No housekeeping if stay more than 2 nights. Kitchen cannot cook. Blankets and towels are really old and worn out. Curtains dusty. Rooms musky smell. No toiletries. Only toilet papers. No DVD as advertised. Best of all, this apartment is mosquito infested at nite. Remember to bring your own repellent coz they don't even provide anything.
