Convenient location. It's in the city area, and easy to go anywhere in the city by foot. There's a big seafood restaurant in Asia City, a shopping mall, within 5 minutes' walk across the street. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff are also friendly and helpful. They provide us a room just as what we had requested during booking the room. It is pretty close to fish market where you can enjoy fresh grilled seafood.

The staff was helpful and friendly but so are the people in KK in general. Hotel is near to Center Point mall and other restaurants. location is good ,it's 8min-walking to the Asia City，8min-walking to Gaya street,but there's a street is not safe enough I've heared. The location was excellent and the concierge was very helpful in arranging transport etc. Breakfast was basic, but we enjoyed it . Very clean nice room without any smells. Room is quiet big and the bathroom too. You can even have your own bath!. Reasonable price, htl staff knowledgeble and friendly...I'm happy stay there with my family...tq. Hotel got free parking for in house guest, very comfortable and clean, and value for money. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful Free and available car parking. Clean, and the bed is so cozy! It's a walking distance to a shop which serves tasty food. cleaniness and quick response for room services. Nothing that I like about this hotel. Our room was on the sea view side (roadside) and even with the windows closed, the sound of traffic was a bit annoying. I would next time ask for a mountain view room. there will be some better chioces. The only minus is staff. They don't smiling and don't trying to do their work fast. None. 1) Free suttle bus to 1Borneo not available on Sunday - 05/05/13. 2) Some room service food not available and closing 15min early. 3) Limited channel for Satelite TV. English TV channels - only 3 available - no Discovery, NGO etc Poor internet connection which often failed to connect. All perfect... The staff doesn't politeness. It is really dangrous to cross the street infront of the hotel. coffee making facility- only a sachet of coffee or tea available for a day.!. wi fi was poor. Breakfast needs to be improved. a bit noisy. sea view, you are on the road side. hill view, the big aircon is just down... maybe you have to be in an upper room to not hear it. Breakfast Parking - limited TV channels - very limited. Pensioner card is not allowed. Can hear road noise very clearly. Wifi was not working for two days. Reception staff no manners. Answer you in one or two words only. No greeting. Was told that the hotel is in the red light area. Breakfast could have had more options, staff were ok could have been more helpful. Rooms facing to the road is quite noisy. the booking was wrong i booking for 2 nights but got told only 1 night was booking the room was not ready went we check in & had to change the room 3 time for 1 or another reason after the first night the Shangri-la check us out after i had a long and frustrating talk with them about have booked 2 nights not 1 night had to go & check in again. Wi Fi is so weak. Internet connection in a room was a disaster. Worked quite good in a lobby, though. The A/C of one of the rooms we stayed always breakdown around midnight and would not be repaired until the next morning although we made several complaints throughout the night. This was experienced 2-days straight. not convenient walking to the shopping area and eating place. 1. Food was tasetless and lousy 2. Location was not safe, that area is a red light district. 3. Hotel facilities is very old/poor 4. There was a construction going on opposite the hotel, very noisy. 5. Was cheated on the airport shuttle, there isn't any airport shuttle provided. 6. Wifi was not working at all. 7. Overall sucks .... don't even wanna stay there on my next visit even with 50% cheaper !!!!.
