Beautiful lobby, big rooms, free wifi, polite staff. Good breakfast. Hotel situated in front of the sea, but it's dirty on Peneng. Starbucks and atm at the backside on the ground floor. Nice surroundings 600 m from Mall with many restaurants. There are some Chinese restaurants 300 m away from hotel. Ideal location for walking to Georgetown or the Gurney Plaza massive shopping centre, temples, shrines and a hawkers food stall market. Hotel clean, and staff friendly and attentive.

Its nice hotel but the process of the staff & lift q bit slow (may be i stay 32 floor, i took 5-10 minutes to wait the lift). Size of 2 bedroom suite is just nice for the family. Well kept suite. Eateries below the hotel is convenient. Service was very good and prompt. Staff was very helpful. Room was a little old but clean. the room was big and clean. loved the king sized bed staff were very friendly. location, by the seaside, easy for local foods and hotel facilities. The hotel was located in Gerogetown, along the coastline (which are not accessible to the public) and close to Gurney Plaza which offers plenty of shopping options. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Friendly staffs, located within walking distance to main shopping belt with lots of local food. Yet offers peace n quiet with great views of the sea n mountains. The Hotel is clean and near to the beach which is nice. I would like to stay here again as long as some changes are made. Furnitures in the suites need refurbishment. bit of a walk to gurney plaza one lift broke down causing delay in frequency of lifts. Traffic jams and less parking space at food stalls. None. I was given the 27th floor and I don't quite like the height. Not overly clean. Stains on the carpet. The spa did not work in our room. None. Front office staff work very slow need to line up very long especially when check out...only 2 people on duty....need to put more staff in sunday afternoon coz more people check out...it take almost 45 min to line up... No free shuttle to Gurney Plaza while guests have to pay RM 20 for return trip. the aircon is faulty. The breakfast is worse. Worth 2stars only. Re-fill is slow. Only ONE selection of fruit and ONE type of yogurt!!!. rooms need refurbishment , mainly paint & furniture. Nothing. Check in time was late. Need more staff at counter for quicker check in and check out for guests. Mattress is too old and floor mat is odour until the discomfort to breath. Poor air cond at the room. Not enough parking in basement.. Worn carpets!. the studio suite was nice and spacious. However, the furniture needs changing badly. The tables were not children friendly with sharp corners. The a/c in my room looked like it had been hacked on. The standing lamp was broken and the cleaning staff didnt even bother to clean up the corners of the room as there was a lot of dirt. The tv was old fashioned and again not child friendly as it could easily topple on someone. The hotel is clearly outdated and in need of a renewal. Furnishings in the 2bedroom suite we stayed in were old and stained. Just imagine, the room came with a old and small boxy TV. Also, the kitchenette did not come with any cutlery nor crockery. The leisure facilities were disappointing, with dated and little equipments. Undergoing upgrading to its rooms so not all room are 100% satisfactory yet. The front desk whom I deal with isn't that friendly. The room aircond and TV are so 90's, please get a central aircond and upgrade the TV to flatscreen. Breakfast spread could be more. Wi-Fi not strong and Lan connection in my room not working. not enough non-smoking re-furbished rooms. Common corridor not air-con and smelt of cigs. staff was not caring a.c was in problem not solve till stay. not imrove their beach side. it should be look like resort. Paying for Studio Suite but getting a Standard room amenities. Simple amenities like toothbrush, shaving kit, welcome drink is not given?? The sofa set in my room look worn out and dirty?. 1. The front desk officers were too slow and not efficient on giving services. 2. The television was very old fashion. 3. The wifi system was insufficient where they terminate the line 8hrs before check out time. Pillow case seems did not change because having some odd smell. It must be changed for new comers. We don't mind to use many days if we stay many days, but not others' body smell!. The hotel was not very clean and the breakfast lacked freshness - and imagination. A lot! Although the rooms are large, furniture in this hotel would need to be updated and carpets (old and stained) replaced. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. Receptionist too much talking each other, not trained well. Room keeper, may be too tired, so his / her sweat left a stinking odour in the room. Transportation only taxi, no buses. the bathroom are old. breakfast buffet outdated change of quoted price ? failed to fix y TV plug after reporting rooms need some extra TLC. Noise from water & waste pipe. Poor TV reception. Rooms run down and in bad need of maintenance. very poor internet connection, guest service is poor. Lif too slow, take a long time. When I checked in, they gave me a room that was dirty, seem like the room has not been occupied for some time, the bed was dusty, the floor was littered with something which I can't make out what is it. There was only 1 towel given. Need to run the water for a few minutes to get hot water which is quite a wastage. Not as good as it used to be.
