Location is good. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. My parent and the children enjoyed the buffet breakfast included in the room very much. Free shutter bus provided in every 30 minutes to Rus do Regedor (where you catch a bus to Coloane), Venetian, City of dreams and ferry terminal. If you would like to use the free shutter bus provided by Galaxy hotel, for your safety, make sure you use the zebra crossing.
all reviews » Our room has a very nice view of the Galaxy hotel. Mini bar is for free, they replenish it everyday (coffee, water and soda). You can catch free shuttle at the Galaxy going to different places like San Ma Lo (drop off going to Senado square and Saint Paul Ruins), Star world, Venetian, City of dreams and more. Nice hotel with indoor swimming pool. Room was great with a Galaxy view. Value for what we pay. The hotel have free shuttle bus from macau terminal to hotel but only available every 30 minutes so we take free shuttle bus provide by Galaxy but have to walk across the road. Value for money; efficient check-in & check-out; friendly staff at Reception; helpful cleaning staff; good value and service in Chinese restaurant; good view. Enjoyed the breakfast. The twin room is spacious. Convenient location opp Galaxy Macau. Excellent location...over looking The Galaxy and a short walk to The Vanetian. The Girls at the check in were very nice. I liked to close proximity to the Galaxy casino of which has convenient free shuttle bus service (note this hotel does not have it). no wifi in the whole hotel. only one way of shutter bus service provided, meaning you have to find other transport back from venetian, city of dreams, etc... Free shuttle only from and to the ferry terminal but no airport drop off and pick up. Receptionist who received us very disrespectful. Some members of staff in Western Restaurant could be more friendly, although generally speaking better than before. Free shuttle bus service sign is not clear at the Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal. We end up taking the Galaxy Macau shuttle & hop over to Pousada. No free wi-fi. The breakfast is served between 7:00-10:00. I didn't like that the personnel from the restaurant ask us to live the restaurant at exactly 10:00 am, even if we didn't finish our coffee and we have started our breakfast in time (one hour or half an hour before 10:00). Food was overpriced and just average quality Staff not very friendly (although effective). free Breakfast - but hardly anything to eat. Difficult to find good food nearby. sauna got hot slowly :). out of place and no people around. Staff could not speak English very well. No bus stop. No wifi available in the hotel. Room was rather old-fashioned; wifi was slow and unstable; mini-bar was free, but i was not informed about that. TV has very limited choice of channels. Old fashioned electricity controls next to the bed. The breakfast tasteless. few options of transpo in location non working electronics. staff is not helpful and food is very poor. The traffic is not convenient. The reception staffs and restaurant staffs are not having a good attitude. I was very surprised the receptionist was so unfriendly when we were arrived for check in. The concierge workers were very rude and unfriendly. Buffet over prices and terrible food. No shuttle service to airport. Refused to call taxi for us. We had to across the street to the Galaxy hotel to get a Taxi. Morning breakfast buffet is too less to choice for eating. Condition not well kept, musty smell, stains on carpets, unrealistic pool / gym opening hours, 9 am to 9 pm which no business person can really use... Plus tax is close to $800 hkd which with holiday inn at die isl package is about the same bit with much nicer environment... Won't go back to it. 1. Staff are not very friendly. 2. Bed is rock hard. 3. Not good value for money. I booked last minute and thus had to pay same price of a good five star hotel for this awful one. 4. Walls are paper thin, literally can hear peoples conversations and coughing next door. 5. Unfortunate enough to have people next door drinking, smoking, playing music and more until 5-6am in the morning!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE!!.
