We had a really nice and comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was big enough for the 3 of us, food was delicious and the staff from the whole complex, even from Conrad, Sheraton and shopping mall were very friendly and helpful.We travelled with our almost 3 years old son and the atmosphere there was very child friendly. The concierge staff at the Conrad Hotel was outstanding. Although we were not staying at the Conrad Hotel, they did reservations for us in very good restaurants and hel.
all reviews » Don't be confused by the name Holiday Inn. This is a truly upscale and nice place, no worse than all the other 5-star hotels (Venetian, Conrad, Hard Rock, ...) around it. The only thing about this hotel you can associate with Holiday Inn is its pricing. The hotel actually prices itself quite a bit lower than its neighbors there. Gym and spa facilities are very nice. To my surprise, the charges at its lounges are very inexpensive (Drinks are half as much as I have expected!) In 15 minutes, you . What did we like?The hotel itself. The moment we got off from the shuttle to entering the hotel, we all got amazed. The receptionists, the staff were very accommodating. The room we got was so clean. Though we stayed in this hotel only for a night but we candidly felt the comfort. The location, the facilities, the value of money..excellent! If there is another opportunity to visit Macao, we would love to stay again in Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central. Spacious & modern designed rooms. Good location with free shuttle buses service for easy access to other famous casinos, Macao landmarks & airport. The hotel is situated inside the Sands Cotai Central building & there are casinos, shopping area, food centre all around. Excellent service, very helpful staff. When I discovered that I was left my stuff in the room after check-out, I immediately go back to the hotel & inform front desk staff. A staff named Emily then help me to check with their housekeeping colleague whom responsible for 24th floor. Finally, I get back my stuff & we really appreciate their help. Nice, modern room - good value for the money. Hotel was located right next to the Sands Cotai shopping mall which has a nice food court and a toy / baby store that kids love (Kids Cavern). It's Macao - casinos everywhere - however this hotel was right on Cotai strip across The Venetian & next to City of Dreams - and The Galaxy - u may choose this hotel over others as this is not so crowded as The Venetian - bus free shuttle (one of the biggest) brings u all over Taipa & to Macao - don't need to take taxi unless u can't wait -. 1. The hotel itself is very comfortable, probably one of the more luxuriously appointed Holiday Inn hotels there is. Good value for money. Hotel is located in a major gambling area, but with free shuttle from the airport and to the ferry to hong-kong. You can also use a free shuttle to city center from other casinos in the area. Machine dispense Macau dollars or coin after cash out at casino. can't use at HK and short changed me as i put in HK dollars when playing slot machine. The wifi costs about us$20 per 24hrs, which is not cheap by any standards. Luckily there's free wifi in a coffee shop inside the mall. Free wifi only in the lobby, which is very noisy. Cost of wifi in the rooms is too expensive. Location is not ideal if you don't want to gamble, but the hotel has a reasonable price for the area. -Free internet only in the lobby, in-room Internet costs 160 MOP per 24 hour. N/A. No free WI-FI in rooms. Staff is not speaking English well. I didn't find pool area until second last day, Bar and food with great views - like to stay few extra days. No bus go to 氹仔directly. - poor english of staff - check in only possible more than 2 hours too late. No free wifi, and the bath really needs to be cleaned! Someone must have used it before but it wasn't cleaned properly. a bit expensive and the location is far from city center, but near by the airport. however, the bus to airport only start from 10 am. which is not convenient for me to catch up the early flight. There are too many upmarket retail outlets and eating place, shopping is better at venetian as such. The included breakfast was not buffet nor international style at all. It was ok but it would have been better if we knew that the breakfast was fully chinese style. Next day, we paid extra (around 6 euro) to change the breakfast restaurant and the restaurant offered us buffet with great selection of different continental styles. It was really good. Suggest give some voucher to encourage house guest spend more in Cotai strip. a shuttle to town direct from hotel is the only thing lacking. Hotel is too big the staff do not bother to give you a smile even when you say hello to them. Late chek-in and terrible breakfast. Breakfast at Yum Cha very bad, I believe not all Asians like the taste and services. Better not to promote Yum Cha, we prefer to have standard buffet. Why did the hotel need room deposit in addition to room charges at check-in?. free wifi only in the lobby ground floor.It should have free wifi in the room. Location a bit too far from city. Pay for wifi. Nothing. Away from the town. Difficult to get some ordinary stuff. Shops are all high class. no shuttle buses to city centre. Expensive WIFI, 20$ for 24 hours I think it is crazy price. From this I was really disappointed.
