Don't be confused by the name Holiday Inn. This is a truly upscale and nice place, no worse than all the other 5-star hotels (Venetian, Conrad, Hard Rock, ...) around it. The only thing about this hotel you can associate with Holiday Inn is its pricing. The hotel actually prices itself quite a bit lower than its neighbors there.

Of all the times I've been to Macau, it was my first time staying at Grand Lapa. I liked the old style charm of the hotel, especially the breakfast buffet dining restaurant. The staff was quite friendly and attentive. I saw the gym area and pool and looked like we were definetly be back next time to try that out. Overall good value for the money.

The facilities are refrigerator, sofa, TVs, iron, kettle, etc. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for comfort and good night sleep since this hotel does not have casino. If you want to go to casinos, there are many within 5-min walk. Transportation to and fro Macau Ferry pier is provided.
