Short walk from the extensive inexpensive Seoul subway in the famous Gangnam area. Clean. Friendly. Accomodating. Free loaner electrical adapter. A refrigerator in our room, always a welcome surprise. Numerous 7-11 style businesses in the area. Some fancy upscale restaurants and cafe's. Reminds me of some of the urban business neighborhoods in Paris. Room was very quiet. Staff spoke English so all was stellar.
all reviews » This hotel is a good deal price vs. quality in an overall expensive city like Seoul. The Yaksam metro station is 7 min walk and Gangnam alone is worth visiting. The room is very cool, with modern design and every single thing you might need for your stay, from shower gel to creams that I did not even know what they're for. Add to this clean and comfortable and you've got the perfect hotel in Seoul. Nice and pleasant stay . I was on holiday with my friend, both of us think it's good hotel, above all for cleaning. I really like its bed, it was so comfortable and also bathroom with delicious shampoo, conditioner and shower... Close to hotel, there were many Korean Restaurant so it was easy to find somewhere to eat. I'd like to recommend this hotel for price and quality!. I booked Royal Deluxe room with 2 single beds. Bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and clean and tidy. I love the hotel to provide daily cleaning services everyday. The hotel is close to Yeosam station, walk almost 5 minutes. It is suitable for short stay tourists, not only for business travellers. Great location in Gangnam, just 3 min walk from subway. In a quiet alley away from busy major street. 24hr pastry/coffee shop next door for those with major jet lag. A lot of restaurants in the side streets next to hotel, even a 24hr bbq place next door. The hotel has great rooms and is in a convenient location near the Yeoksam metro station. The décor is very modern - most rooms have a computer which is very convenient for business travelers. The hotel is located near a subway station & Coex convention center, and the famous gahangnam street and area. The front office manager was a great help in a very decent way. Having said that, a robust in-room WIFI router was evident so it's largely a moot point while carrying our own smartphones and laptop. So either carry your own WIFI device or learn the Korean keyboard shortcuts. How do you print the "@" symbol? :-). The front desk staff is not helpful. They can only speak simple English. The airport shuttle bus is stopped in front of Reinassance Hotel, not close to Tria Hotel. Location is not good if you are looking for things right outside your door. Shopping malls were a good 1/4 mile away. And getting to center of city by subway takes a good 30min, but subway system is very extensive and will take you anywhere. Only problems I had with the room was a brick wall view from my window and mold on the bottom of the shower curtains. Front desk did not find our booking first saying it was cancelled. They finally find it out but was pretty weird. Rather 3 1/2 star than 4. Confusing controls for air conditioner Frosted glass walls of shower/bathroom area too transparent Lots of drunk men in the area at night. The room had no closet and was a bit tiny!. 1. Room was quite dark, even with all lights turned on 2. Located near pubs & nightclubs, so can be noisy until after midnight, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. No gym. musty smell in the bathroom no cupboard to range your clothes breakfast was very light and same plate evryday. Rather complicated electrical switch arrangement and aircon controlled by tv controller. Nothing really! I knew there was no gym etc so wasn't disappointed. Had problem with the lighting, it keep turning on and off at night. The internet was not working in room 302, but likely I was able to connect to other rooms. Unable to turn on the TV. the room had no view at all. After paying almost 10 dollars per person for 'breakfast' we were informed that sundae the kitchen was closed and breakfast would be brought to us, we were told it would be sandwiches and juice. What arrived was 2 tiny bottles of juice and two sad and dry looking mashed potato sandwiches. Not cool. too dark. -all rooms are smoking rooms even though we requested a non-smoking one and you could smell the Tobaco straight away -very poor breakfast with limited choice (no fruits, only basic toast and a large dish of fried sausage; eggs..) -on the last day they told us our breakfast could only be served between 9am and 9.30am. We didn't want to wake up that early so we asked for the refund and they declined. Very unreasonable. No non smoker room. Overpriced! What is more, a breakfast is not served on Sundays but they won`t let you know until you pay a full price! It is just a cheating - you don`t get a breakfast even if you paid. Terrible! What is more, the only view from the window is a brick wall. Bathroom was dirty with a very nasty smell. The hotel very much needs renovation. The rooms are pretty much smoked up. A/C cannot be adjusted or does not work at all. Facilities.
