The staff could speak some English and could answer our requests well. The location is good as the Euljiro 3 (sam) ga subway is about 3 minutes' walk from the hotel. There is a restaurant near the lobby that serves food for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you are too tired to go out to eat. There is a 24 hour convenience store where you can buy food, snacks and drinks (located at the basement of the hotel).

in the neighborhood. Access tp free shuttles and subway, banks walking distance to hotel. Taxi sevices availability and reasonable fares. City tour bus stop close to hotel. No smoking restrictions. The restaurant buffet menu don't seem to change much. Restaurant is closed on Saturday afternoons,evenings and all day Sunday. smokes comes thru the air vents from other rooms.Sometimes pickup sewage odor. Doesn't last long, so it's not a problem.

Room clean; could defer sheets/towels from daily exchange by leaving placard on bed. Complimentary water. Room tight for three people. It adequate. Had English speaking TV (BBC). Breakfast was good and filling. Appeared. In an industrial park of town (BR fixtures and tile but very safe. After evening activity ceased was fairly quiet. Did not hear other guests.

Taken to "other" sutton hotel by cab driver. Desk clerk gave us hotel map in Korean and pointed in direction of Myeongdong hotel which was only a few blocks away but was challenging at 11 pm. No tea bags in room although hot pot, cups, sugar etc. went to desk to ask for tea bag and clerk said they did not provide. But couple days later saw on room cleaner cart and finally showed up in room day before we left. Limited English of desk personnel.

Staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful at all times, making the stays at the hotel (4 days then 1 separate day for travel) amongst the most pleasurable we have had at any hotel anywhere. Rooms were very well designed, get a terrace if you can.

There is nothing we didn't like about the hotel. Perfect.

The room was very clean and quite comfy.

We stayed in a triple room and it was a little too small. Every taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel because of the one-way street.

Really convenient. 3 mins walk to the subway. Plenty of local good food within walking distance. 15Mins walk to Lotte Departmental Store, 20 mins walk to MyeongDong Shopping district. Very helpful staffs member. Free Shuttle from Seoul Station to the hotel.

Convenient store that says 24hours actually opens on from 1pm till 11pm. Many taxi driver do not know how to get in even with the hotel business card.

Its very near the shopping area of Myeong Dong with metro station exit near the Hotel ; breakfast was adequate & ample; the staff were courteous & nice

Room & bathroom was very tiny but was cleaned everyday. There's nothing too see around hotel since its located near hardwares (bathroom fixtures)

The staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Location was good only one minute from eujiro Sam ga tube station and a 7 minute walk to myeongdong

Location and service are very good. Although the location is a bit far from Myeongdong, you only need to take about five mins to Myeongdong. It is convenient actually.

There was a 7-Eleven store located at the basement of the hotel, which was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was spacious.

It was not very visible from the main road and our taxi driver took us to another Sutton Hotel across the river.

The hotel is very new and clean. The interior design is simple but modern. the location is very convenient just 2 min walk from Eujiro 3 ga station which has two main subway lines.

we paid higher price for the room with terrace but the outdoor jaccuzzi didnt work. the hotel charged us half price for just the last night.

It's very near Myeongdong, about 10-15min walks away only. The bed is comfortable but the pillow is too soft.

There were heater instead of aircon for the first few night when we are there. We had no choice in the end have to open the window but it's quite noises during the early morning which disturb our sleep.

the hotel is new, convenient location -nearby subway station and myeongdong, price is reasonable

the temperature of air conditioner can't be adjusted, the room temperature almost reached 30'C (outside was 1X'C) but the staff told us that we could only open the air bank to let fresh air come into the room... few hair were found on a towel which supposed to be clean.... the transport time of shuttle bus from hotel to Seoul station was too long, at least took 30min more than subway... the safe was not workable, couldn't be locked...

This hotel was close and convenient to all major tourist destinations. I walked everywhere, but the subway was very close and is easy to use.

Not very soundproof. It seemed like water being used anywhere in the building could be heard in my room - very annoying during the night.

Staff are very friendly and can speak English and Japanese. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had some minor problems with one of the room and the staff responded quickly and fixed the problems. Hotel location is only 5 mins walk from subway station but it may not be very safe to walk alone late at night as this is in an industrial area and the shops are closed after office hours.

1. It's a new hotel, so the room is pleasant to stay.. 2. facilities almost perfect 3. Near to shopping areas 4. Generally speaking, staying at the hotel is recommended

1. The room is a bit small 2. The double bed is made of 2 single beds instead of 1 double bed 3. Location is a bit weird as it's in the middle of hardware shops area, quite difficult for our airport taxi to find 4. difficult to find Muslim food. we had to travel to Itaewon to get some as that's the only area where we could find many halal foods as the Seoul Central Masjid is located there

Comfortable, quite rooms, fairly large tv with a few English channels, heated toilet seat, fairly good breakfast, pleasant staff, 7-11 in the basement. Take bus 6015 from Incheon Airport and get off at the Royal Hotel stop, or the one after it (Best Western)

It is good that they had a bath tub, though it is quite small and has an uncomfortable very square shape for sitting in. It is annoying that you can't open the window - there are small vents though so you do get some fresh air from outside. Somewhat difficult to find - most maps don't even show the small street it is on - I found it by putting the co-ordinates into a gps App on my iPhone.

Sutton Hotel Myeongdong was excellent value for money, especially at triple sharing. We had the comforts of a hotel at such a low price. It's a block away from Euljiro-3-ga Station and two blocks away from Cheonggyecheon Stream. Not precisely at Myeongdong but a brisk 10 to 15- minute walk will get you there.

Euljiro-3-ga is not a pretty neighborhood. It's full of hardware stores selling tiles and doorknobs. There are people drinking at pojangmachas all over the place. I hated leaving and coming back to the hotel. Good thing the metro station is close.

The hotel is new and very clean. The staff (Min Ho) was accommodating and can speak english well. The hotel is near the subway and shopping areas (E.G. Myeongdong, Dongdaemun & Insadong). Will definitely stay here again!! Keep it up!! =)

Friendly and helpful staffs. We booked a quadruple room and it was spacious enough to fit all four of us and 4 big luggage. Breakfast was fine, although there isn't much changes everyday. But good enough for us.

Toilet may be slightly smaller, but not an issue. Not much things in the hotel area and may be quiet at night. But subway was very near, so isn't a problem for us.

I stayed there for four nights with my mom. We were both satisfied with it. The location is great which is very close to the metro station of Line No.2 & 3. And it's a 10-minute walk to Myeong Dong Shopping area. The most attractive thing is the breakfast included. The strawberries were so cute and yummy and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The room is tidy and clean and the facilities are all great.

If you love walking, like me, this is the perfect place to stay. You can start your Seoul tour from Cheonggye Stream which lies at the back of the hotel, head towards Gwanghamun Square where the magnificent statue of Sejong the Great is erected along with the infamous Admiral Yi Sun-sin. If you continue walking north, Gwanghamun Gate will welcome you, this is the main gate of Gyeongbok Palace, largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. If you continue walking south, you will find yourself in Nandaemun Market & Myeongdong, a shopping haven in Seoul, and not to mention it is open until midnight. You can also dine in this area with their famous Samgyeopsal at affordable prices. Also, situated here is Myeongdong Catholic Cathedral. Further south is Namsal Tower. Again all of these are in a close proximity with the Hotel. If you want to get out of Jongno District, like Gangnam District, take the train which is not more than 100 meters away. Facilities wise, everything is great since it is a new hotel. Hope they can maintain it until my next visit in June. The ambiance & comfort is commendable. You can feel very secure even at the middle of night when you are outside. As well as the staff, they are very accommodating & welcoming. They can speak English. KUDOS to you all. Not to mention, if you run out of something to eat in the middle of the night. 7/11 is in a rescue, located in the basement of the hotel. OVERALL EXPERIENCE - Highly Recommended
