I was going out in Itaewon and wanted somewhere to stay for the night. This place was the cheapest so i thought i would give it a try. The experience started off on a bad note as i was giving the directions to the wrong branch of the hostel, but that location was was even more central. Just 1-minute from Itaewon station. Greeted by some friendly European guys who showed me my single room and it was spotless. Other floors of the building are going through some renovations which makes you .
all reviews » CLEAN. I thought it would be uncomfortable to share toilets & bathrooms, but this guesthouse definitely prove me wrong. They cleaned their guesthouse every day without failure. HELPFUL. the guesthouse is managed by young guys. Although some of them were not very friendly, some were very very helpful and so NICE. they helped us to transfer all our belongings to the different building. We are so grateful to stay at the different building which is much closer to the main road. Since I have few. If you're a Westerner of any description then you'll love the location. Itaewon is a haven for expats, bars, restaurants and shopping. SP@Itaewon is basically a hostel, but a nice one. The facilities are good and there is a separate building where you can book private rooms. The staff will help you book a trip to the DMZ and then do your laundry for $4 (wash and dry). Try Vato's Urban Tacos and try the kimchi fries before or after you explore Seoul, which is really easy with the subway and bus. -The staff here are as friendly as can be. When I checked in, they gave me a mini-tour of the place and showed all the services (laundry, etc.) that were available. You can tell they care about each of the customers as individuals. -Location. Literally can't get any better than where it is, just a few minutes' walk from the Itaewon subway. -There are no weird hostel rules like not being allowed to enter after a certain hour, etc. Well this guest house is just out of this world ! Literally in the heart of itaewon. Amazing staff, helpful and friendly, and very fun !!! The rooms are extremely clean and neatly decorated. Im really recomend this guesthouse to you if you want to stay at Iteawon area, we book private room, the room only 2 minute to main road and Itaewon Subway, but if you book dorm, its quite far a bit maybe just around 5 minutes to main road and subway. The guest house likely aparment, we are muslim and very easy to get halal food around Iteawon. Wifi also working very well. I have to say I LOVE This guesthouse . The location is perfect to go to every pub or bar and to find every delicious food . The people there is perfect to get along with . everyone is so friendly . The room is very warm and cute . the most important thing is the price is very reasonable . Next time I go to Seoul I still will choose this one . Cool place, cool people. Made our stay such a breeze. The location is good, but you have to climb up a hill, and it's just a few step from the subway. Plenty of nice restaurants and delicious kebab around (for Muslims). The gentlemen that work there are very helpful and friendly. I stayed in a single room at the separate facility and they were kind enough to walk me there. We were not informed by them that we couldn't check in earlier though I have already mentioned to them that we will reach Seoul early in the morning. That guy should have clearly communicate about this in advance. The new building that we stayed does not have kitchen. but they do have microwave and water dispenser for cold & hot water. If you are looking for anything resembling an authentic Korean experience, this is not the hotel you are looking for. It caters to expats almost exclusively. -Nothing negative to say. The dorm beds weren't very comfortable, but this is expected: it's a hostel dorm. It was perfect, nothing bad to point out !!. everything is wonderful . Nothing. Nothing - one of the best guesthouses I've stayed in. It can get a little rowdy after 12 midnight on a Saturday. But it's pretty normal I guess? :). Nothing. Nothing really. Bathroom was a bit grimy. no lockers to store valuable devices. Room was pretty small, but ok. Room was too hot and no temp. control, so had to open the window but then it's too cold. The single room is a little bit small, but still good enough for backpacker. Basically nothing, except the showers can go hot and cold when other people turn on the tap. nothing. The evaporative coolers are not cooling very well. Pubs all the around the rooms can get quite noisy. Unfortunately our room was next to the front desk, which meant we were woken up frequently by rowdy guests coming in late at night, as well as the staff working at the front desk who was holding a noisy conversation with a guest until nearly 2am. Too small room. No tv. The bathroom had no door and my room was across from it. I could smell the restroom from within my room. Also there was a room-air-freshener that sprayed some chemical every 20 minutes or thereabouts. Not only was it annoying but it smelled like some chemical mixed with the bathroom smell from across the hall. And, the room needed at least a chair in it. Is a chair asking too much?. Small place. Many people in and out.
