The excellent service and friendliness of the manager,Mr Hong.Very helpful and patient. Whenever he is not in his office,there is a mobile phone in front of his office door for the guests to contact him.Rooms very clean and very well equipped .a mini market on the groundfloor (open 24 hours,I think).Subway 2,4 and 5 ,just 3 mins walk away.Dongdaemun shopping area,only 5 mins. Walk away.Airport limousine stops 3 mins walk from the hostel. Excellent location for practically everything,eating,shop.
all reviews » Mr Hong, the hostel manager, is very helpful and willing to assist. The location of the hostel is good as it is near to the DongDaeMun Cultural & Heritage metro station. This metro station is the interchange for 3 metro lines and offers easy and convenient access to key places of interest such as Myeongdong, Seoul Station and Gwanghwamun. There are many convenience stores located in the vicinity of the hostel. One is located in the same building. Food choices are plenty within a 10-min r. I like the location. It's very near to dongdaemun shopping area, abt 5 to 7 mins walk. And there a lot nice food nearby. The room is clean and it is more spacious as compared to k hostel and namsan guesthouse. Both my friends staying there last year commented that the room and toilet in k hostel and namsan guesthouse is very small. The toilet in able hostel is not small even though the washing machine is placed in there. I like the room and will definitely recommend it to my friends n. The hostel is absolutely convenient which is near by the subway.The room is definitely cleaning and comfortable.The manager's english is pretty good that we could communicate well.He is solicitous hospitality,try to satisfy our requirement which make us so happy.He helped us to take care of our luggage when we checked out. As a traveler who come to the korea in first time,We recommend you to choose this hostel to live in. This is the first time I've booked a guest house for a family vacation because it's hard to find a hotel room big enough for my family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) in Seoul short of booking a suite. However the experience was great and I so recommend it for any family wishing to experience local lifestyle and being near to the shopping strip which is opened almost all night, every night. The place is very convenient. Its less than 5min walk from the airport bus stop 6001. Near shopping area n subway lines. Equipped with washing machine and microwave where you can wash yr laundry if you did not bring enough and cook instant noodles if u are hungry. Heater to keeps you warm especially at night during winter. The owner Mr Hong even called a taxi for us to the airport. Convienience I.e near metro station dongdaemun History & cultural park and connected to metro line 2 which link most the attraction in seoul I.E. lotte world,insadong and myeongdong. Near dongdaemun market shopping area. We enjoy the night market nearby looking for bargain and it open till late night. The room is clean and the hostel staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good, near Dongdaemun shopping mall, airport bus stop and subway exit. The manager, Mr. Hong, is a very nice and helpful, only he takes care all the rooms, even he is not in his room, just call then he would come & help asap! Appreciated & thanks! I will stay in Able Hostel next time if I visit seoul again. Good that I am able to cook simple dishes with the kitchenette available :) There's a computer, wifi. No tv though (well, we don't need any as we are often out anyway) Quite near the Dongdaemun night market. Prob abt 5-10 mins walk. Mr Hong is a very friendly and helpful host. Location: perfect. It was quite calm (we forgot we had neighboors). We booked a double room and the manager kindly upgraded us with a triple room free of charge. Except for the automatic light in the hallway that's way too bright when you go to the wc in the night,everything is just perfect. The cabinet in the room is a bit too old. The skin is peeling off. The door of metal cabinet behind the bed is loosen. So there is noise coming out when my boyfriend and I turning around while sleeping. But for the money I have paid for 5 nights which is a total of krw310,000, there is not much I can complain. Nothing. I got far beyond the value I've expected from this accommodation. It is clean and well-maintained and exceeded my expectation. We having difficulty to find the entrance of the hostel . We suggest a signage to be place at the main road show the direction to the entrance. Less tableware... There are no signs outside the building to indicate that the hostel is located within. We wandered the streets around the building for about 15 minutes before finding it. none. It was little hard to take shower there so we went to チムチルバン. Bathroom. Quite small. Otherwise, everything is good!!!. Nothing, it felt like home right away. need to pay to use the towel. the toilet is a bit cramped. Sign of the hostel is very small and not noticeable. District is in a "little Russia". Heating not sufficient for cold winter. You must request to do the daily room cleaning. The area was a little dark, but it's safe so no problem. hard to find, but not too hard. No microwave. none. Lift too slow. It was a little tricky to get there :). Room's a little old and musty. It's in a Russian neighborhood and in general felt a little dodgy - old signboards, dirty streets etc. the area full of people from russia and the countries near to her. quite afraid to walk around at late night. Facilities a bit old.
