I think this little gem within Akiba is something I wish I had known about in March , when I first came to Tokyo , I stayed at a different location , whilst also very good , the APA Akihabara has the best staff I have encountered , friendly , and above all , the most helpful I have encountered . It was a convenient location - direct line to Shibuya and easy to get many places. It was also a bit of a quieter area which was nice. The room was small but comfortable and had everything you need - including a little balcony with a great view of the river and the Skytree. The reviews said the room was small. I beg to differ. It was bigger than I expected. The room is divided into 3 parts. Living room, bedroom and toilet. The bedroom is small but big enough to spread out the mattress (enough to fit a king size). Then the living room is big enough to sit and even open up the luggage. Toilet is divided into wet and dry area. The toilet area is spacious. Bathing area is not too bad. A mini bathtub and a standing area.

Hot bath 300 yen per hour. English speaking staff, appeared genuinely concerned when i told them I smelled weed smoke in the toilet, 10 miniute walk to Minami Senju Station (7 min ride to Ueno station from there). Good if you're coming in from Narita by Keisei Skyliner. Clean rooms. Comfortable Japanese style. Showers nice and easy to get to the right temperature. Nice lounge and kitchen facilities. Side door with keypad and coded lockers for 24 hour access.

This was our favourite Hotel during our Japanese trip! Our room (situated ot the 17th floor) was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything we needed and the view was just gorgeous.
